Bronson Harrison back on the market?

GNR,why, because he was from the Sheens era, isn't that what we want back at the club…geez none of that thanks....

I remember him scoring a hat trick and also suffering a season ending injury, all in the first half against some team or another. Canberra?

Also I remember him being nicknamed taps, hot and cold

Can anyone tell me why Benji was 'bags'? He carried the team or some such?

He wasn't the only one…Marshall was another...and he nearly broke Lawrence before Lawrence did his hip.

We will never know how good Marshall could of been and same could be said about Bronson, there are a many careers that were hindered by Sheenses antics ….who could ever believe that a decent half back could not be found for all those years for Benji to shine talk about a wasted opportunity shame on you Sheens SHAME.

Srsly? Sheens made Marshall if anything. Marshall won a golden boot, a premiership and a WC before he was even 26… That's a hell of a lot of achievement.

As for Lawrence, I don't think he ever broke Lawrence, he played him at 5/8 a couple of times- not a big deal.

Benji is an ad lib player, which is fine when the other half is an organiser and tactical kicker, after Prince left Sheens never got a half to fill the void.
So yes while Benji was good,he could have been so much better with the right halves partner, and Sheens is totally to blame for that.

In fifty years time people will still be blaming Sheens for Global warming, Ebola, World financial crisis and 2005…

So Happy, if you had the time again and you were the coaching decision maker. Here's the decision:

Have Sheens for the entire period as it was (good and bad)

Don't have Sheens, roll the dice on a different coach…

Which one?

McCarry good questions for Happy…

Can I just say in the whole big picture we must consider what Sheens did when he came to the club,it was a shambles to start with and he cleaned it up and won a premiership,I'm not getting into an argument about him,we just have to look at what he did before it started to turn to rabble again...

The problem is Sheens should of been gone by 2008-9

He couldn't adjust to the rule changes after 2005 and took him 5 years to get a competitive side again

You need a coach who can reinvent himself with the changing ways of the game to be a 10 year coach

Blokes like Hasler ,Bellamy ,Bennett can Have you ever seen these coaches take 5 years to reinvent their sides

Sheens proved he couldn't , pure and simple and when he finally got the side he wanted , they didn't want him

What does that tell you ??

I believe sheens broke him .Bronson was a gun centre / five eight ,had a great attacking game ,a great kicking game .made his debut on the wing and IMO he bulked up too much to play in the back line .its a big NO for a resigning ,every coach I. The comp knows his weakness in defence
