Brooks was our best player by miles tonight he controlled the game for us, was playing 1st receiver on average twice each set on both sides of the ruck. **He made 3 or 4 breaks but no one was there in support**. .

Thats pretty much all you had to say. I think AD is carrying an injury too, but really he should be continually pushing up through the middle in support. I'd go as far as saying with a lot of other fullbacks Brooks line breaks last night would have led to 1 or 2 tries with support.

It seems that some have lost all objectivity when it comes to Brooks and are incapable of seeing anything positive he brings. He is rising to the challenge of playing tough just like the rest of the team. I didn't think they had it in them to play like they did last night and while I could find errors in most of their games as a team they were great - Brooks included.

Honestly don’t think my first post was terrible!!!
I was proud of the team last night apart from a few brain explosions by a few of the players. Considering we were down to two subs. But there was stages last night that we needed to settle play down by putting the ball either in to touch or into a corner, instead we got the usual kick from Luke that wasn’t that threatening. Luke’s not a halfback and the sooner the club realizes the better. In my opinion Madden should be given the reins.

Well that's a worst post....we have just run one of the form teams to the wire and you want to turf put the 7 and put in a rookie....please think before you post

Hahahaha you make me laugh buddy.... but thanks for the welcome ?

Brooks fits the Madge mould. Solid, committed to the WTs buys into Madges defence first attitude.
Reynolds missed a lot of tackles. We can’t have another half with suspect defence next to Reynolds.

Have to agree - even the biggest Brooks critics surely can't think a rookie would have performed better in a game like that.

We need to have a play for Kieran foran, at the right price...as showed last night We are a competitive unit but we will never quite match the top teams...especially when things are tight, Brooks will never get us home in those types of games....time for him to go

I think it just frustrates people Nathan is better than him.

Is he ? I thought Brooks was the standout half in the first half and he wasn't bad in the second. He did make some mistakes but I think he was better than Cleary. Luiai was better than Cleary as well.

Brooks is early into a 5 year contract. He’s not going anywhere.

That’s a sobering thought...

If he was off contract, the Storm, Broncos, Canterbury and any other club looking for a good 7 would be making large offers.

Fantasy points are hardly definitive but are an attempt to gauge positive vs negative play. I sometimes wonder if the Brooks haters even watch the games.
Luke Brooks 65
Josh Reynolds 21
