Interesting collation of all clubs player errors - many of the best players in game feature.

Benji 19 missed tackles in just a few games.I wish him well but i hope the donkeys dont target him all game

Thank god David Fifita isn’t running at him. Hopefully he doesn’t make Ben Te’o look good

lol..you guys are funny..I'm fine with the coaches decision..it's his to make..

The forwards will need to aim up and give a platform for Marshall/Walters to get the job done..the Donkey's pack haven't been their problem and won't take a backward step..

As long as we win that's all that matters...Maguire can only shuffle the deckchairs a few more times..if his plan is to keep blokes looking over their shoulder ...

So why do you have a Madge voodoo doll then

Absolutely, the double standard is breathtaking. What message is Maguire sending to other players?

Who is going to take Mbyes spot

Talau.

And the wing spot

Lawrence to left centre with Hoffman outside of him. Was that a Captain looking after his debutant last week? What a disgrace Mbye has been over the last two games.

Talau to right centre.

That certainly would have been a consideration. Lawrence could definitely look after the old opposing center.

Nofo 10 errors interesting

A few of those critical errors too.

Interesting thing about wingers is the errors are normally either
(a) non-critical late-tackle errors, in an attempt to do something with the ball in attack - sometimes bombed tries but usually hospital passes, being pushed into touch or a failed attempt to attack a kick; or
(b) absolutely critical errors in early tackles, trying to bring the ball out.

I recall at least 2 occasions Nofo dropping the ball trying to get a quick PTB. He's not alone.

I'd really be interested how many errors by players lead to scoring on the following play.

If it includes chasing fairies I’d say it’ll be up close to 95%

I agree with the Mbye comments
But Lawrence will get eaten by Xaviers speed

I don’t think so, Lawrence is a great defender who still has a bit of toe - he’ll keep the guy with the Mummy’s Boy name in check.

Xavier is one of the top 3 quickest players in the league. Lawrence isn’t super slow but his lateral movement ain’t that good. Hoffman would get destroyed by Coates as well, in the air it’s not even a contest

From fox sports and also noted in Qld news broadcasts.
Meanwhile the Broncos have injury clouds hanging over star backs Xavier Coates and Tesi Niu heading into their clash with the Tigers.
Fingers crossed at least 1 won't play and they have ti re-shuffle like us.

Well there is the TRY causes stat in there and apart from the Knights and Rorters ...wingers for the other Clubs are very high on the lists..wot a surprise..

I think you also have to consider involvement per error Luke Keary has the most errors according to that list you would expect the guys who have more involvement would have more errors..

Could be where the safe player gets a rep of being safe..minimal errors .. minimal involvement

A lot of talk but Brooks had a shocker and has been trending downward for a few weeks. Madge is calling him out. Huge talent but doesn’t take footy seriously enough. On and off the field.

If he doesn’t aim up he may need a change of scenery. I think he will.

Aim up, or look for a change of scenery?
At some point we have to show that our own talent can reach their potential at this club without having to seek it elsewhere. Otherwise we will continue to be a feeder for everyone else.

I think he will aim up to be honest if he had Madge as coach earlier in his career we would not be having this discussion.

Well you have to give credit to Madge he is looking at whom is aiming up defense wise each week and if you play poor - Dropped.
Big wake up call for Brooks, wonder how Benji goes this week seemed to perform well in a shorter stint last week.

It seems that way really.
Do you think he enjoys playing it? As in he doesn’t take it seriously/ care because he just doesn’t want to compete and it’s just a job or is he down on confidence and really wants to be a first grader?

Only started getting into peak physical shape when Cleary started. I think it’s all off the field work that translates on it. His defence has been outstanding before last week I’d be more concerned about the downward trend in performances. Fact he hasn’t been dropped before is probably a major reason.

Oh I took off the field as in outside of football.
You mean his not the best trainer...
I think his too comfortable playing for his local club. All those boys needed to shift to change their attitude to footy.

Yes, if you don't aim up you will be dropped and replaced by someone who has been dropped previously for not aiming up.

What do we end up with, the person who aims up most frequently or the one that has gone the longest since the last time they didn't aim up.

I believe so. All talented and same story. He’s loose off the field but plenty are. We have had a mediocre expectation as a club and players coming in know they don’t have to do much to retain their positions. Madge is changing the attitudes. He needs more depth to be able to do it properly.

Didn’t think Brooks would be loose outside of football, being such a quiet personality.
Saw him at a concert earlier in the year with just one other mate. He seemed pretty conservative, just enjoying the music wasn’t drunk or anything.

Do you think Walters or Benji has taken Brooks position?
