Yeah mate just rewatched it was the backs and halves pushing passes.

Forwards can always improve and cleary rotation questionable but it was the backs and halves getting exited in attack that cost us big time. Not good enough l.

With benji back is it time to send him to reserves to have a think about what the hell he is doing.

Have a think how well he played whilst our forwards controlled things.
Same with Benji … his game fell away when there was no room to think.
Find it hard to understand that some people don’t understand how this game operates.

Watch the game again. There was plenty attacking opportunities.

Brooks is like the opposite of Blake Green.

A break out over night sensation that cannot perform without a calm organiser outside to guide him.

Hed probably be great outside Maloney or Cronk but on his own or with a runner like Grub he's rendered useless.

The forwards and backs were as bad as each other. Those poor errors were costly. Forwards tackling was varying between 30-50 (Taylor 50 think Lawrence even did 30 tackles). Yet backs were once again the only ones making ground.
Agree with rotation. Been saying it since Panthers game, Ivan takes our only metre eater off and plays them an average of 37mins. See Twal now, which was Matulino until Panthers game.
Believe our tackle count was north of 520 and Titans was 140-190 less (from different sources).
There's no doubt we need another big body but our backs need to get the basics right too.

As for Brooks I'm more disappointed he wasnt kicking to give his forwards a rest.

Exactly corey thompson basically cost us the game.

Definite Gronks, I'm not a Robbie fan at the moment, but he was one of our best today (with Chrissy, and MBye wasn't bad either). Our big bad forwards are just not big or bad. And our backs suck.

Of our current first 17, if I had the choice I wouldn't keep a lot.

Need a quality centre to partner Marsters, a quality winger better than Thompson on the other wing, a starting prop who can make some metres. A second rower with a lot of mongrel, and some impact from the bench.

brooks is not a gun halfback. He is a good one when the team is going forward but not one that is going to manufacture a win for us. On that I agree.

But name 3 half backs in the nrl that could have turned today's game around for us? I can't .

I don't mean to be critical of Brooks but cut him some slack his still a young half back learning his trade :laughing: His stats will tell you so .
Give him another 100 games and he might take control of this team . :laughing: :laughing:
