Good news. I hope brown has a big one.

I hope he has a big one too.

As quoted by Phil Gould "his a player who hasn't had a lot of luck".

I hope they resign him as he is worth holding too.

I'd prefer Brown FB and Moltzen Centre but you don't want to change much after winning 4 in a row.

I reckon we should get the job done @ Penrith

Wests Tigers coach Tim Sheens admits his side will struggle to cover for injured centre Chris Lawrence in the run to the NRL finals.

Lawrence is unlikely to play again during the regular season after tearing his hamstring while setting up a crucial try in Friday night's thrilling win over St George Illawarra.

It continues a frustrating 2011 campaign for the former Test representative, who endured a long rehabilitation after dislocating his hip earlier in the season.

His return to the field has coincided with the Tigers' strong form of late, with the win over the Dragons coming after earlier victories over top-four sides North Queensland and Manly.

"It's not going to be easy because we struggle a bit without him - he and Lote (Tuqiri)- but Lote's back next week," Sheens said.

"At the moment I'll throw that option to Mitch Brown, he's handled it pretty well for me before."

The Tigers are in camp in Kiama on the NSW south coast as they look to refocus ahead of the run to the finals.

Tuqiri (quadriceps) ran away from the main group at Tuesday's training run, as did centre Blake Ayshford (ankle).

Sheens denied Ayshford was in any danger of missing Friday night's clash with Penrith, with his alternative training schedule more of a precaution on what was a fairly cut up Kiama Showground surface.

Gawd I hope not… Not only is Brown hopeless at Centre, we might as well not bother playing a Winger outside of him in attack?!

Wake Up Sheens... Its 4 weeks until the Finals!!!

Mitch is a decent centre. He needs confidence though.

Like most he struggles being able to read Benji but hopefully he and Ellis have a strong combo.

The problem for a guy like Mitch is Sheens selection of him for limited bench time reducing the time he actually has on field this season

I like to see Mitch Brown back himself. He is strongly built and from memory when he played at full back last year was able to chase down one of the Titan's flying wingers with a start. (might have been David Mead) so he must have some pace.

I see Sheen's point of view that if you are winning do not make many changes.

Penrith like to score off bombs so hope Moltzen is up to the task.

I have alrady had my say on other threads that Moltzen should be 14 and Brown should be our full back and resigned for next year.

I hope Brown has a blinder and puts pen to paper.

Hope the inspirational Luke Lewis is unavailable to help our chances.

Need to continue to defend well and back ourselves in attack.

We have an easy run in the last 4 weeks compared to other top 8 sides and if we can beat Manly and St Chokers then Penrith, Parramatta, Titans (with no Scott Prince) and Cronulla should not be too hard to beat.

Mitch gets caught out bad at centre. Im happy for him to play centre in attack but i'd like Beau to shift in one spot when it comes time to defend.

If Sheens is telling the press before he makes he selections what he going to do I reckon you can be guaranteed that not what he will do Doesn't sound like the Shifty Sheens I know anyway

I'd much rather Brown there than Moltzen. At least Brown will pass the ball.

Guess that means we will see:

1\. Moltzen

4\. Brown

14\. McKinnon

I'd agree… He is definately big enough and has the pace, but I've never seen him use it in an attacking mould.

Hopefully, this changes?!

Suppose Brown is playing for his career so he might show up and have a big game against Penrith from centre but would much prefer Ryan at centre we would get so much more out of his enthusiasm and his never say die attitude at centre imo

Brown is hesitant in defence, particularly when he plays centre/wing.

At fullback he has a sole mission to defend hence why last year he wasn't caught out.

This year, when he has covered centre/wing, we seem to concede a few breaks/tries down his side. His ability with bombs has also been poor this year. Confidence? Injury?

He needs a big game otherwise its time for a junior to fill the void left by Lawrence.

Please don't put Brown to fullback. We need a ball player and support runner. Those are his weakest attributes.

He couldn't be worse than Moltzen.

Admittedly Brown is not a ball player but he's played much better at fullback than Moltzen has.

Brown did a great job last season in the #1\. We don't need a ball player at fullback, we have Marshall, Lui and Farah to do the ball playing.

Just hope he takes a leaf out of Lawrence's book and hits the line hard and at pace, he is big enough and not the slowest player in the team
