I am truly shattered at Bryce having to leave.

Fifita and Fulton are next.

Sheens and Humphreys you are both a disgrace to this club and the minute you both walk out that door will be the happiest minute of my life.

Yep…. right up there when the greatest Fullback to ever pull on the Tigers Jersey left...... Shannon Gallant :stuck_out_tongue:

If we had Gallant in 2010/11 we would be in a better position on the table than what we are now mate. Watch his highlights on You tube buddy.

Wests Tigers decision making is a disgrace.

Yep, the Mackay Cutters fullback would be making a difference to our table position :crazy

I liked him as a Tiger…
... I will hate him as a Shark.

everyone will, even if they say they won't.No one cares about players once they leave,Scott Prince anyone? .

Mate, you are 100% wrong. People will still love Gibbs as he's a LOCAL KID who was FORCED OUT.

Prince is a QUEENSLANDER who wanted to go back north.

Please don't bracket local juniors with other players. Especially ones who are forced out.

Anyone who boos Gibbs and Fulton next season is NOT a real Tigers.

and the tigers wouldn't have won the 05 premiership without Prince,so read into that what you will

also, although Prince is a QUEENSLANDER,he is a NORTH QUEENSLANDER who if home was the real reason for him quitting the tigers he would have ended up at the Cowboys who were also chasing his signature

I think you will find Mrs Prince wanted to be back in South East Queensland closer to her family…....... and we know who wears the pants!

One of the the main reason Princey's wife wanted to move back to Qld ( as some may remember ) was that she is an emergency services worker and could not transfer to a job in NSW for some reason That and the fact the Tigers wouldn't build them a new house for nothing

Robbie re-tweeted a message saying, "sad day for the Tigers, losing Gibbo is a disaster for the club on many fronts."

It is highly unusual that Robbie would go public with his feelings like this. 'a disaster for the club on many fronts.' One of those fronts would be the loss of Bryce's defence, but what are the others"

Sounds to me like he is referring to team/club harmony and loyalty. This Blair business seems to be tearing the team apart. Robbie's comment is surely aimed at management. He sounds very unhappy and this can't be good.

If this really is all coming from the signing of Blair, then I agree, it is a disaster.

The earlier post about wests tigers breaking an agreement with juniors of 2005 is true. They were running into salary cap issues, that's when Fulton put his hand up to play a year over in England. This guy was the captain of all the wests junior teams that won everything!!! And we kick him out! Just like we turned an awesome center into a wide running second rower, then a prop on Bronson Harrison!

Whatever the actual situation is, I hope the side decides to get their act together at some stage and I hope any disharmony does not continue on.

Bryce Gibbs twitter posts imply that its not his choice - i.e. he is being forced out rather than wanting to leave.

Yup, and I hate this.

It reeks of unprofessionalism. This club is killing me.

Get them off Twitter, please.

Yep. Gibbs hacking us on Twitter changes my opinion of him going. Farah should no better as well - especially as captain.

My money is on you wanting this to happen so you could once again lay that ever-so-subtle slipper of yours into Sheens and Humphries.

If that's true then these blokes, including Farah, ought to man up and try being professionals. It doesn't matter what they're getting paid (personally I don't happen to believe NRL players earn too much, but that's another discussion) - the fact is they are professional footballers and have no right to be bitching and moaning about who their colleagues are. I've worked at places where my colleagues are my best mates and at others where I'm barely on polite terms with them, and at both I'm there because I'm getting paid to do my job as best I can. Sure it's great to work with people you get on with but that shouldn't affect your performance, and if it does you need to take a long look in the mirror.

If anything, my worry would be that the Tigers are too matey with each other. This season has shown that they certainly believe their own hype. If management has decided the squad needs to be freshened up a bit they certainly have the evidence on the field to back that up - and I include last season in that: for all the talk of how close we came the fact is we were only competing for "best of the rest" and the signs are that where a few clubs have taken another step up this season (Dragons, Manly, maybe Melbourne) we have stagnated or gone backwards. If Farah wanted to keep all his mates around him he should have tried winning some more games. You could make a decent case that we've only played well twice this season and on one of those occasions the oppo rolled over and died, and if that's the best the current squad can do then yes, I would agree that we need changes.

Incidentally, I'm aware I'm being very harsh here given injuries etc, and it is possible that the poor performances have to some extent been caused by uncertainty off the field. But the fact is that they shouldn't have. There are a bunch of players in this squad who must know the next couple of seasons are going to be their best chance of winning a comp, and to lose focus on that because one of your mates might be playing somewhere else next year is crap, quite frankly. I'm not normally one to either criticise players (except Beau Ryan) or to ascribe on-field results to "team harmony" (it's amazing how winning teams develop their own harmony) but on this occasion I really think it's the players' role to shut up and perform.

Excellent post 2041\. Keep in mind that Melbourne would have finished in the top eight still last year if they were playing for points, and were well aware their side would be torn apart.

Sharks are classics. They are a shambles. Gibbs has had injury concerns and John Fifita would have to be over 50 years old. They will sign anyone.
