Bryce Gibbs

im a pelican.

he has been much improved the last couple of seasons with a reduction in boneheadery and the last few weeks he has been great but i have to say i am not that worried he is leaving. sorry!

i think groat and woods will step up next season and be an ample replacement for gibbs. I'm really hoping groat will become a monster with more experience and confidence.

I hope they give him more of the red cordial in the coming weeks. It's funny though how he and Fults have started to play much better again in the last few weeks - for most of the season they weren't sparking. Perhaps it's the realisation it's all coming to an end has sparked them up. Gibbsaway will be missed.

A real credit to himself that he has played so well since we told him he wasn't wanted. Showing great charachter.

His form has been a result of a couple of months uninterupted by injury. Really hasn't has a great run since 2005\. Same with Galloway really.

But to be fair to management Woods and Groat are cheaper and have more upside.

He has been playing like that for the past 18-24 months. We will definitely miss him.

Yep, he's been building towards this sort of form for about 2 or 3 years now. For the past 5 years he's been the best defensive prop in the game, he just lacked the running aspect to match it.. but in the past couple of years he's discovered leg drive, footwork and been running a lot more direct and decisive.

Unfortunatly for us, he's going to hit his peak at the Sharks. I get the feeling though, this won't be his last year at the Tigers, he'll be back, some day

Even if he did give away a penalty it would have been a differential which means those scumbags couldn't take the penalty goal.

I wish we had seen this form from him earlier. Don't get me wrong he always puts in a solid effort, but the 100m+ games weren't to be seen so often before.

It's that odd mental thing of players improving when they are off contract or have decided their future.

Would have been a really strong backup for the starting 2012 pack, and we weren't to know about Dwyer back then.

Gibbs last two seasons with us have been outstanding. Only a mug or the Fib can't see that. He has really matured as a front rower and his best footy is still ahead of him - too bad the Fib broke a promise and set him free.

Well done Gibbo, you bleed black, white and gold.

Got me beat why we let him go, as i feel he has been playing like this for the last couple of years, I still think we are a prop short for next year though.

outstanding performance, prob his best attacking game i can remember, and as always was good in defence.

He'll be missed, and I expect his to do well for the sharks, but I believe that woods, Groat and Bergovich will do nicely in the front row rotation in his absence

Crap!
He was the only WTs player along with taniela cracking 100m regulalrly (nearly every game) at the back half of 2009
