Bryce Gibbs

He has always given us a headache !! wholly hell..what are you doing !! lol.. but last year and this year he is non stop…Other experts on this site say that Blair is quality and we will see...I hope soo.....

Credit must go to this bloke. He is one of many leaving the club at the end of the season and it would have been easy for him to turn his attention to other things, but he's consistently put in week after week for the last 4-5 weeks and it's clear his focus is on the Tigers for the remainder of the year. He's been the best defender at the club for quite some while and I don't think anybody's ever questioned his capability in this aspect, but his hit-ups have improved out of sight and he is making 10 or so metres every carry which is a very positive sign for any front-rower.

Gibbsy is still only 26 and I definitely wouldn't write off the chances of him returning to the Tigers one day. If anything, I think it is a good chance of happening.

great game bryce his defence was outstanding against manly never missed a tackle he looked like he may have did it again this week gee we will miss him next year

Put a GPS on the bloke. He covers more distance than any prop in the NRL. His fitness is mind-blowing.

Bug Don't want to sound overconfident , but think you can change your signature to 3 times by 2011

It just goes to show you can't judge on-field performance by off-field performance! So much for being a joker off-field being a hindrance.

**I wish we had seen this form from him earlier. Don't get me wrong he always puts in a solid effort, but the 100m+ games weren't to be seen so often before.**

It's that odd mental thing of players improving when they are off contract or have decided their future.

Would have been a really strong backup for the starting 2012 pack, and we weren't to know about Dwyer back then.

Crap!
He was the only WTs player along with taniela cracking 100m regulalrly (nearly every game) at the back half of 2009

I would consider 2009 stats fairly irrelevant, but would be interested to actually see the stats if you have them.

So far this year averages 90m per game. Galloway averages 110, Ellis 96, Heighington 109.

Why is it irrelevant?
Its not irrelevant, in response to your statement.
I am going by memory, I dont know if there is records kept of stats anywhere

I think his attitude has been inspirational for the other forwards. He is being punted, but is busting his backside every week (of late) so, in all fairness, how can the other guys not do the same?

Gibbsy has lifted his game and seems hellbent of giving his last days with WTs the best of his efforts. We should all be proud and appreciative of how he has taken on the shift to the Sharks. Would have been easy to spit the dummy, but he is having a red hot go. Well done, big fella.

I hope I get to shake your hand and tell you face-face how much your efforts are appreciated by us fans.
