Buchanan Dropped...Lawrence Bench

Ok - I'll be the odd one out - I don't like it.

Inexperienced centre (whichever one is used) and a very poor bench.
Lawrence is not a back rower imo. If JT wanted his centre spot vacant, then he should have dropped him.
I think Rowdy is the second best centre in the club - I know what most think of him now - hope this doesn't come back to bite him.

This was not the week for these changes, whether we win or lose.

The timing does seem strange - I think we had the dogs covered if we stuck to a similar team to last week (injuries excluded). Now I'm not so sure with this change.

So from a short term perspective - I'm unsure. Long term - good move

So a WT side without Galloway and Lawrence?? Could be the start of something great.

If you think the team this year is better without Galloway you're dreaming ….big loss....

Personally I love the changes - & things will be complete once Keefy is back
but…
imagine the outcry if sheens had bought a winger in for an injured prop, played the winger at centre, moved a centre into the backrow and started a second rower at prop...

On April 21st @ 10.44 I shared with all of you some intel re upcoming team selections which have now come to fruition. The next stage/s will be Galloway and Nofas return which will see Ava and Hoeter missing out. While Paul Fletcher ( NSW Cup coach) is still pushing hard for Asipeli Fine at the expense of Lovett, Taylor is still keen on Akauola as cover for Tapau, with Halatau covering both second rowers (Siro & Lawrence) and Robbie.
I'll try to update all of you when I receive further info, I for one think this is the way forward - pick your best available 17 from all 3 grades! I'm not saying this team will be world beaters but we can now possible make it into 8th position.

I might join you Rusty
This feels familiar to the Benji benching
I hope these changes have been thought out and not made just for the sake of it.
Buch getting relegated is a fair one though.

I know warriors have dropped Hurrell and threatened others might follow

So our bench now is???

Interchange
Dene Halatau
Matthew Lodge
Lawrence
Seumahnafai

Lets see before we celebrate

Hope Lawrence provides impact because ava is terrible. Dene had a good game last week but is in the same boat.

This is why Tupau needs to stay on the bench! I would prefer to see Sue starting at lock and eating up the early tackles and then Tupau come on like the maniac that he is

Hahahaha just kidding, thanks for the insight mate, im sure the forum appreciates it.

Do you think the club will re-sign Dene?

Interesting…...........we'll see if that makes a difference

but I doubt it, it was a team capitulation last week and a team capitulation against the Dogs earlier

I think it's a mistake starting Sue over Ava. Sue has been the better player, but Woods & Ava getting spelled by Sue & Lodge is more balanced I feel.

Milky, Dene will only be resigned if we miss out on Pauli Pauli - this is a factual contract possibility.
I have another strong rumoured signing @ $450k which I am unable to share at present - it would expose my source.
Moltzen @ $350k is definitely gone at end of year.
