Just to follow on from another thread where I started a bit of a tangent.
I'm a fairly keen bushwalker, and take full advantage that I live in the mountains.
Does anyone else come up here for walks, or if you don't, what are some good nature walks around your areas?
My favourites up here are the South Lawson Waterfall track, it's a state park so you can take your leashed dog with you if you wish and it's a fairly easy walk and quite picturesque, Empire Pass which is a longer and more strenuous walk, but takes you deeper into the bush and can give you some quite nice pictures at the bottom of the pass. Some really nice waterfalls along the way with Dante's Glen, Fairy Falls & St. Michaels Falls. Also cannot go past Wentworth Falls. The National Pass track (which is about 4 hours long,) takes you to the base of the falls and it's a really nice spot to stop and be alone with your thoughts.
I hear there's some amazing walks up around Coffs Harbour as well. Anyone from that area able to share some of the walks they take up there?
