Bye Farah

@Snake Well the sooner you see reality in what the paying fans want the better for you. Wests Tigers have been at Leichhardt since day dot, whatever you think this is our spiritual ground, you cannot change what is fact. If we played all our games at LO and CSO we probably be in the 8. So with give up a finals spot for some corporate dollars.

@Tigers_Tale I live in Newtown. Go to Leichhardt, go to cambo. Love it. BankWest has great boxes, but it’s not our home. Still reeks of eels. I’ll go to watch wanderers there though

@the_third I will go and watch Wanderers there as well, but can you tell me why we play a home game at Bank West against Parramatta, i think really that is stupidity

When we played at just those 2 grounds we never made the 8.

At full time at the game I told my young bloke he should become an NRL referee to help out the Tigers ...
He said “ they’d still lose “ lol
....
I quite like Allianz Stadium !

@hobbo1 But that’s Roosters territory but that’s ok 😂 as long as it’s not parramatta territory .. these are the posts that make a nonsense on any debate on home grounds !

Fond memories of the Sydney Tigers 😁

@hobbo1 Yeah we will probably start playing our home game against the Roosters at Allianz then follow that up with another home game against Parramatta at Bank West. Then you will still blame it on Leichhardt that we did not make the 8, even though we win 2 out of 3 games at Leichhardt.

I never blamed it on Leichhardt..
I was at Leichhardt !

What needs to be done is we have 1 game at LO and 1 at CSS per season...then we make Anz or 1 other stadium our home ground...definitely not Bankwest which is Parra territory or SFS which is Roorters territory...

lets go from there and see where we end up....I have absolutely no idea what will transpose next year, but heres hoping.....

Inside Robbie Farah's 'crazy' NRL farewell playing with a broken leg in loss to Cronulla
By AAP/WWOS

Farah later revealed that even if his side had won through, it was unlikely he would have been passed fit to play in week one of the finals.

And yet it was made clear that he'd only be considered if fit. What a terrible call that was by the coach and terribly selfish act by the player.

OMG. Get over it.

I am, I'm just stating facts. Doesn't change what transpired. I'm sure you have things that irk you.

Thanks Farah.

Despite what I thought of him off the field on it he never left anything in the tank. Tough as teak and carried us between 2006-2009.

Enjoy retirement, hopefully the body isn't hurting for the rest of his life.

Many things irk me yet I find the will-power not to post that the coach made a “terrible” call in a pressure cooker situation... or that Lo and Behold Robbie ended up running out for one last hurrah, when we literally had nobody else left to join the squad. Talau theory has been rejected.

I take your point, with a grain of salt, as I was one of the many fans down there and was not at all impressed with the referees or our front row, yet for me none of that was ever really in doubt when Thommo went down - we would always be up against it.

If you’re looking to criticise Madge AND Robbie in the same breath then I truly believe you’re on a hiding to nothing. Still had a great time on the day and was obviously able to somewhat appreciate the good things that R. F has done; rather than being overly negative, pessimistic and Britney (I mean whiney) to his face. Shame the other boys didn’t want to pull their fingers out. Seriously, what are the odds that an Achilles injury occurs in warm up in the final round, for an absolute blockbuster sudden death clash... only at Wests Tigers. Farah or no Farah... we were outclassed and outmuscled - if you really wanted to show your support then you’d have fair dinkum ran out there and hammered Cummins after the half-time penalty call.

Teak? Try a coffin nail and not once did he leave anything out there, as you say. Could see the unbridled joy and emotion just for him getting the opportunity to be there @ Leichhardt. At HIS spiritual home for one last bumper crowd!!! What a day it was and never will I remember this as one of our bigger fails - a fail nonetheless, but we were definitely competitive and that will always typify the spirit Robbie showed during our early fighting days to get us in this position even to be a *mediocre* team 9/10 seasons. You’d think some people would rather us do a straight swap with Titans,... or Dragons. LOL
