Can Reynolds make a difference?

Can not see him having a impact for a month. Although with most games being stop start these days his fitness should not be a big issue as it would have been in the past. My main concern is we lack any real attack, speed, and power and I just dont see him changing that

He doesn't have to be a game changer, all he has to do is direct the game better than Benji and we're in an infinitely better position. Hold the pill, kick to the corners, limit 7 tackle kicks, no loose passes and commit in defence.

I can see him making a difference, just not sure it will be positive.

As a dummy half, his service is slow and he does not run much.
In the halves his kicking game is poor and he lacks creativity, which means the dogs will be able to focus more pressure on Brooks.

The positives are that he will add enthusiasm which should improve our line speed.
He is less likely to over call Brooks or look for miracle plays

Reynolds creates points when he is fit. Good speed and great at reading numbers. He is no good at hooker running 5/8 is his only position. I believe he can be our most important player by the end of the year.

Got to hand it to Reynolds been training with both the NRL sqaud and the ISP team to increase his fitness. ..

Now we just need Ronnie to remember to pack the magic fairy dust…..

would rather he came back in ISP and played 2-3 games, think he will get caught out in defense as he tires.

If he tires , he'll be a trippin'

Yeah that's my concern about him. I think returning against his former club, which he loved so much and didn't want to leave, is a big mistake. If he'd been playing for most of the season then fine, but he's not match fit and has had no time to to learn combinations and fit into our team structure on the field - it will still all be new to him in many ways.

Against the Bulldogs, I reckon he will try too hard and as you say, if he tires the temptation to stick the leg out for a trip might be too much. I'd hate to see him end up looking like a goose in front of his former teammates and fans. I was really hoping he would've already been an integral part of our team before this game.

That is my take on him too, not a 9 but a running 6, good support play, I think to get value out of him, Benji has to play 9 or play ISP.

Eventually bloke has had terrible luck two unrelated injuries and played for 20 minutes.

Ronnie needs the fairy dust the week after against the Roosters… good to hear Reynolds has been putting in .

I reckon he can.
Trained with the team for a long time now so i'm not overly concerned about combinations and he cant be more erratic then Benji.

I just hope he gets to come on playing 6 and not 9.
