Yeah exactly! They might be playing a lot better lately but they did start the season losing 15 straight, that’s definitely spoon worthy despite their current form. They do have a better future, but this year the spoon is all theirs.

Dragons have made the Finals twice in the last 15 years. They have nearly as many problems as Tigers. They've won 3 matches all season and you are tipping them to go on a 5 game winning streak and reel in the Tigers?

You're right it is simplistic.
Because it's a simple concept. You lose the most games during the season, then over that season you are the worst team in the competition.
You want to pick and choose parts of the season to determine who is the better team? Thats like saying "oh yeah we've missed the last 15 finals series, but we won the comp in 2005 so we're a great club."
I know exactly what your saying it’s like the 05 knights.. but would you rather losing your first 12 games or your last 12 games ? Let me ask you that.
Dragons also have had less floggings than us and more effort when they lose games. Apart from rosters game don’t cop 60 point floggings. Every years where the only team that does it
Absolutely. JF was not just a former player, but a Penrith icon, and is very much loved and missed by the whole community. 50 is probably underestimated.

It doesn't matter. If we have won more games than them at the end of the season, we are demonstrably the better team over the course of the year. F/A only comes into play when you're trying to determine finals placing. Other than that it's only ever about the two points each week.
You don't start playing for points after round 10. If you did, then yeah, Dragons are a better side.
