I don't believe it's the coach. The problem with lower level ability players is that when the going gets tough they don't perform. The Souths game was a classic example. They just smashed us up the middle and we couldn't go with them.
It's not mental steel. It's ability which may include form.
It's both, but sports psychology makes a big difference and is often overlooked. It's that 1% that wins games.
I remembered reading an article about Bellamy and the Storm's mental focus direction years ago.
