Imagine how boring 8th will be ...can't bag Brooks , MCK ,Tamou , Liddle ,Simpkin , Nofa , TT , Roberts , BJ , Madge ,Pascoe , Ronny Palmer , Garner ,Seyfarth and Geo


I just ran through the NRL ladder predictor (https://ladderpredictor.nrl.com/ladder) and if we lose to Manly after the bye, we get ninth, if we win, 8th!

Is that including the loss to the Dogs and Brisbane

ROFL. Ladder Predictor Fries after we manage to beat the storm by 1 point and loose to the Dogs by 30!

I realistically looked at the ladder predictor and only gave us wins that were realistically possible and we finished 9th with 10 wins and a bye - LOL. However 7th and 8th were about 8 points behind 6th and i think 24 points could jag a spot in 8th. The only teams from 7th down with any recent form are the sharks and us both with 3 wins from our last 5. Its going to be a lottery between the bottom 10 teams as to who jags 7th and 8th.

Yeah I kinda think the botched chances against the GC and Warriors sealed it for us. Need an upset in the next couple of weeks if we are a shot.

Yeah, just out luck, we got Manly with Tommy Turbos first game back and I thought the Cowboys was a given, but not to be. Plus the two you mention, It really sucks being a WT supporter, doesn't it:astonished:

Easiest draw in years to make the 8 and we find a way to put it in doubt.


Thats exactly the results I plugged into the ladder predictor and came up with 9th. How we would love to have the games back against the Titans and Cowboys.

Check the ladder predictor again - it's leaving us on 22 points with 11 wins, but it doesn't add the 2 points for the bye. 11 wins would put us on 24 points and a shot on for and against save for any blowouts.

In saying that, Dogs twice and Brisbane once...we may put a couple of big scores on them.

We are talking about a team that has only jag two consecutive wins once. Ken and TPJ are not miracle workers. Also if TPJ had a bad record with the refs playing for the Bronks, imagine how the likes of Snowflakes Sutton will treat him in our jumper

When you look at the bottom 10 teams any side that puts a few wins together is over achieving - Saints, cows. warriors etc have all had mini runs and then imploded - if we somehow miraculously strung 3 together i would say we would be shoe ins for the 8. Having said all that my prediction is we need to beat ivans horribles at penriff to make the 8.
