Can we score a point?

Can we score a point against them?? nobody else can, we couldn't score a point against the titans for 69 mins. do we even have a chance?

It's not looking very good for us is it. Are the Broncos going good or are they just getting lucky by playing ordinary teams that seem to be having off days against them. Imo the Broncos look terrible i think they have no attack but i can't explain why they are winning but that is just what the Broncos have always been able to do. They are defiantly controlling the speed of the game and really playing a game that suits them while getting into an arm wrestle. Hopefully Sheens is working his little brain and coming up with a game plan to upset their rhythm because i think that's what it's going to take to beat them.

I seem to remember the same comments before the Bunnies game.

"Ooh we will be destroyed but their left hand side".
"Inglis will score at will"

Blah blah… Oh sorry I forgot this is another doom and gloom we are rubbish our lives are not worth living as we lost a game thread

Lets just hope the real fans all turn up at the SFS on Friday and leave the keyboard warriors at home to criticise.

Imo we need fulton and galloway back, fulton brings alot of discipline into the forwards and galloway alot of go forward.

We are going to need are forwards to perform this week if we have any chance.

personally i am glad shirnack is injured may sound a bit harsh but having a player coming off the bench who is small in size and only good in defense isn't a utility to mine. Off the bench we need the likes of BMM, Fifita, Woods and Moors who have alot of go forward which will turn the game our way at the right periods.

Personally i think we can win if our forwards perform and the bench is utilised right.

Yes we can score points against them but the big question is can we score more points than them . Will hugely depend on our fullback situation .

actually this is more about the broncos defence being *too good* not about how rubbish we are

golden a different team different ground and different week we will score trys if we play well.forget last friday night im sure the players will.

Depends on the make up of the team that is selected. If the same players are trotted out in the same positions as last week, then I reckon we will battle to score anything.

The Broncos have conceded only 50 points in 6 matches - that's friggin unbelievable!!!

If the forwards lay the platform for Marshall and Moltzen/Miller we should score quite freely.

Hope everyone remembers their performance against Raiders They were horrible under high ball as well in particular fullback Could be something there . Other area would be to continually hit Hodges in defence . He looks to have lost some mobility laterally and his winger can be dragged in . Not saying Hodges is bad in defence though If we can get him on short side and attack him with speed might be some chance there of creating chances . Gee I hope MacKinnon is fit for game

I bet the Broncos are shaking in their boots about the possibility of McKinnon playing.

We seem to play well at the SFS at night, regardless of the opposition. Its a home game so really it is a must win game for us. It can't get any worse than Friday's 2nd half performance. We should see some points and a big improvement across the team. Hopefully plenty of Tigers fans there ready to make some noise.

We haven't lost a home game so far this NRL season (we've also haven't won an away game this NRL season).

We have to be positive in attack, it'd be hard to beat them trying to play a grindy style. Ball and players in motion running good lines and running hard.

we can't change the past.
that's what the game against titans is.
look forward to improving for the next game.
wests-tigers will score points against the broncos.
each team can be beaten.
they hurt, they bleed, they feel pain.
_use a game plan similar to their one._**_get all basics right and see what happens from there._**

Actually, I bet they would be secretly hoping that Moltzen plays fullback given he couldn't catch a cold, and is unwilling to put his body on the line.

Your constant bagging of McKinnon is pathetic Vicious. The only thing he lacks is speed. We will be 1000 times better with his presence on Friday night.

:master:

Wade Mac is an infinitely better FB than Moltzen, what he lacks in speed he makes up for in willingness to put his body on the line, the ability to contest a bomb, support play, ability to organise a defensive line and the ability to exploit a broken line.

I truly hope he will be back this week.

McKinnon has ALL the attributes a good fullback should have, the best being his excellent support play. He is obviously slower given his age/injuries, but I think he is a VERY important player for us. He doesn't deserve to cop the bagging he has, and I find it laughable that Vicious has some sort of an agenda against him, given he wanted Moltzen at FB over him.

Need to improve our attack and have either McKinnon or Mullaney at full back as both know how to
chime in in attack.

We need Galloway back to charge at the defence line.

Any team can be beaten on their day but if we don't show up Brisbane could put a cricket score on us then back to camp Kiama.
