He has no Rugby League skill. Never has. Ive been saying it for years but so many believe all the media hype. He came to Rugby League as a kid with a step. That's it. I believe he tries but he hasn't got the skill, its as simple as that. Everyone waiting for a turnaround in his form will be waiting forever. This is his form. This is as good as you will get.

A lot of people aren't going to agree with me on this and I know Benji is in a massive form slump at the moment but everyones being pretty hard on him saying that he should basically just be shown the door and thats it.
Its not all his fault that we are losing games.
Our defence on the edges tonight was shocking in general and the Brisbane forwards just dominated us.
He's been our saviour for so many years now and its tough to imagine him playing for any other club.
Think of all the games he has played good for us and the amount of times he's won us matches.
He is playing horribly at the moment but for many reasons I reckon he deserves to finish his career at the Tigers and be a one club player.

Benji is burnt-out & must be dropped from 1st grade. He has become a liability in a team that is already struggling with injuries & poor form. Coach Potter is fighting for his NRL coaching career so Benji & other non-performers can expect to be dumped & encouraged to leave the club.
On form Benji would not be selected for the NZ national team.
Close to one million dollars of Tigers salary cap is spent on Blair & Tuqiri. Management can't change the past but lets hope they have learnt from their bad decisions.

I rarely watch a Tigers game live, but IQ it and sit down and watch the game later. After the game finished, I turned on the game to watch the demolition. I made it to half-time and switched it off and went to bed in disgust.
Up till then, I saw some players like Fulton, Iosefa (49 tackles in total), Tedesco, Simona, Nofo, Woods and a few others, bust a gut, but the failure of the high profile, high priced players were too big a load to cover for.
There were some young forwards trying, but they lacked any leader in the pack. Where was the INTERNATIONAL Kiwi great Blair, who should have been directing the forward pack? He made a good number of tackles, but did not seem to have much effect in attack.
The backs were a leaderless bunch, because Benji is NOT A BALL PLAYER, NOT A LEADER and appears to be disinterested in doing anything, which might lead to him getting dirty. He is worse than useless, because he lacks many game skills.
PLEASE DO NOT OFFER HIM ANY EXTENSION TO HIS CONTRACT!

If we had a draft system like the AFL, we'd be waking up this morning, reading the papers that Marshall and WT are being accused of tanking last nights game. Well this was a tanking of different sorts, the Soward experiment. I think Benji has reached his goal, give him that release. The longer we dance with Benji, the worse it will get. It's so obvious his intensions.
