Brooks gets manhandled by a guy twice his size and gets a bear hug from grant. Wallace , the slowest hooker in the game strolls over from dummy half. I honestly thought they would score everytime they had the ball. I dont understand how defensively they can play so different compared to the cows game. For me what burns me most, is that ive been waiting for this game all week, I was so nervous. Where was that energy and desperation with your season on the line.
@Tuiaki Chicken Wings said:The fact that the team needs to make 3 positional changes to ensure Farah is not in the team is bemusing. I couldn't care less if Farah was not in the team.. if the person replacing him was actually a hooker.
The fact that when Dene goes off… Rankin goes to hooker, and then Simona moves out to wing and Lawrence to centre (Where his best days are past) and then a new second rower in is absolutely ridiculous. We got away with it against Parra and the Dragons, but I feel we were really found out by that fact tonight and against GC. This comes back to the feud and the loggerheads at which Farah and Taylor are. Taylor, a former FG player and now coach... should well and truly know, making significant positional changes during a game, ruins cohesiveness and balance in the side. This is his decision pure and simple. Worked for a week or two but has really come back to bite him squarely on the ass the past couple of weeks. This ego driven move has cost the tigers massively IMO. No other coach would do something so drastic to ensure that specific players are not in the team. If you wanna hook him, fine no worries, but do replace him with a Hooker... not bit part players and shuffle 4 blokes to ensure it "works". Therefore I believe, that we cannot continue with Taylor... yeah boys are behind him, but his decision making and team selections are poor and quite juvenile.

Yeah. This is the first time I've brought up the home ground issue as holding the club back.
You like us being a poor club so stop whinging about us being a poor team.

We are a poor Coached side that rely on some individual brilliance from some players to get us over the line in some games.
To think that Cleary is 18 years old 😱pen_mouth:, Brooks is laughable in comparison….he is not our future half no way is he worth anywhere near what his on.
Anyone that went to the game and had to sit through that is an embarrassment.

Totally agree.. Brooks is an average first grade player if that, I expected more from him.. Cleary whislt 18, 60kg and only few first grade games into his career is very good, clever, calm and talented.. i definitely can see some savings in brooks..
As for the team, I have trust in them in 2017.. No trust in the coach.. I expected a loss tonight though not what was dished out tonight. Too much chopping and changing + JT was not able to fire up the lads.
Maybe we can convince Cleary to coach WT and have him bring in his son as a replacement for brooks

That's a key point right there. Taylor's continued arrogance of excluding Farah means we play without a specialist hooker and have to shuffle three around when Halatau comes off. All because of Taylor's lack of player management skills. A personal "win" for him at the cost of team success. Some coach, eh? Some management too who witness it and allow it to happen. Disgraceful.

This is exactly the problem, right or wrong with robbie is not the issue. As tuaki says replace him with a hooker ffs. It's mind boggling frustrating and I'm not a Taylor fan but I do applaud his live by the sword, die by the sword stance but for the sake of the team pick another 80 min hooker

Yeah predictable.. Taylor haters having a field day.. I really do think we'll be much better placed next season. The side is still young and doesn't have the composure together yet.
