I hope they play St George in round one..

Have you seen there record against the dragons.. they would beat them. And really the dragons are semi final chokers… so its not a great thing to see if they play them.

the raiders are a factory of young nrl players that usually get bought up by other clubs so its good see the likes of dugan signing longer term with them, i hope they go well!!! but i think they will get a flogging and drop out of the 8

I agree with you totally. I hate the system fullstop.

I dont buy into this 'Well unlike AFL we have representative games throughout the year" spin the NRL puts on, so what? Lol

Some people will say, "Well if you lose to 8th place you deserve to play away the next week", I dont agree. The whole idea of playing well throughout the season is so that the teams that scrape into finals have a tougher finals run. One upset win and suddenly theyre in a better position then a team that has played better throughout the whole season. Being in the salary cap era makes the system even more unfair to higher placed teams.

I don't mind the home games for week 1 winners. What's the punishment in losing then? nothing, at least with it how it is now, there is a point to every game in week 1, win it, your next game is at home.
