Mountes traditionally pump Wests ...hopefully the boys put in a big effort..

Another weak squad, but not unexpected. If the NRL players actually play they'll do better but still there's not enough promise in our backups.

Maybe 5 prospective NRL players in the starting lineup. Simply not good enough compared to our opponents on a weekly basis. If we're not going to be winning we should at least have talented young players getting experience instead we have a ron massey squad full of no-hopers. Reflective of our complete lack of junior recruitment for the past several years.

Maarbani should definitely be named as a starter too. Been one of our best outside backs the past few weeks yet keeps getting named behind McGuiggan, OToole, McIntyre etc

I have seen the last two games on tele.i enjoy looking for prospective first graders.
who would be your prospective 5 be, Balmain boy??

There will be a few players droppiing back which will help the Magpies. Reckon Rowdy will be there along with Taylor, Fonua and Nofo.

One that stands out was loss when we lead 28 zip

Same night that Tedesco shattered his kneecap

@eyewondertwo

Of those named this weekend: Bradley, Robson, Garner, Seyfarth are the standouts.

Clark is included due to being in our top 30, playing in a position we lack depth and he's doing ok in ISP.

Gamble would be touch and go, we haven't been using him wisely at all (playing him as the organising halfback when he's a much better 5/8 who runs, passes and kicks a bit but isn't touching the ball 3-4 times a set). But I do think he'll eventually play first grade for at least a few seasons at some club. Might end up at the Titans.

cheers bb
from the games ive watched,gamble seems to have gone backwards.- he must be wondering why he is still here in Sydney.
robson the teams future no 9?

@eyewondertwo He's gone backwards because the team hasn't had a halfback since Drinkwater left so he's become the de facto half. That's not his natural game so his strengths have been overshadowed by the need for someone to organise the team. I think if Madden gets promoted to ISP he and Gamble could be a great combo. Apouri offers very little and no first grade potential.

Robson would be a great utility to have in the WT top 30. Either as a backup hooker or as a utility/back rower.
