Western Suburbs Magpies Canterbury Cup Coach Brett Hodgson has named his side to take on the Wentworthville Magpies on Easter Monday for their Round 6 clash at Bankwest Stadium.

In what will actually be the first sporting fixture to be played at the new, state-of-the-art facility, Hodgson's side come in to the match off the back of a strong victory over Penrith last week that put the Magpies back to fourth on the Canterbury Cup ladder.

They'll come up against a Wentworthville side this week who suffered a last-start defeat to the top-of-the-table Mounties in Canberra last weekend, and will no doubt be looking to bounce back in front of their home fans at Bankwest Stadium.

Hodgson has retained a similar squad from last week's win, with NRL squad members Dylan Smith, Tyson Gamble, Sam McIntyre and Robbie Rochow included.

2019 Development Players Tommy Talau, Kane Bradley and Alex Seyfarth have also been retained after playing their first reserve-grade game of the year last week.

Kickoff for the match is at 1:30pm AEST with no live TV coverage available.

The nrl and channel nine have missed a trick here I think... first game at the new stadium and on Easter Monday and it’s not televised.... I mean the games are a sellout... oh well... I’ll be there working but it just seems like an opportunity missed

@Blaze I agree. I can't understand why this one is not televised. A golden opportunity missed for one and all. Go Tigers

@Masterton I just looked up the guide on Fox and they are playing old Parra games leading up to first grade preview. I’m not 100% sure obviously but if the guide is accurate it’s not on

@Masterton Just another way to screw you over. Pay for Platinum fox & then have to pay more for another News Ltd service. Live action on 1 repeats on the other. They have to do this otherwise Kayo would not have a market as people would just use foxtel go.

Already have NRL & AFL pass and netflix and others are a load cheaper than foxtel. Might be time to ditch that.

David Nofoaluma, Elijah Taylor, Paul Momirovski and Jacob Liddle will all start for Wests in today

@Tiger_Steve Are you sure? It's on Kayo, and they get their feed from Fox.

Doesn't appear to be on Kayo.

Should we be chasing Bevan French? People keep talking about the need for speed. Is he making his opponent look bad or just opportunistic?
