Knights junior...

Seen him play since the early days.
Nothing special.

Good cup player.
Can play 6,7,9.

Is a ranga.

Good looking team. Last season we started on fire, then, I dunno what happened, we really fell off in the last third of the season. I will be watching whenever there is live coverage available. Super interested to see how Simpkin goes. Straight into NSW Cup, gonna be a huge test for him.

Cini & Hoffman very unlucky. Assume they will be in Flegg?

Sounds like Cini, who has been talked up for a few years, will end up being a prospect only.

Maybe needs more time just yet. Did play Australian Schoolboys so that usually counts for something. He was the leading try scorer for us in Flegg last year so I reckon he goes ok. If he was a handful for Flegg at 19, I would expect he would be a bigger handful at 20.

It's weird to put Seyfarth in at 2nd row and McIntyre at lock, would think they'd play the other way around.

Interesting to see Kei named on the wing ahead of Cini and Hoffman, given they started the nrl trial on the wings. Although really all of Talau, Hoffman and Cini are more centres than wingers. Could see Johns moving to second row to open up a space for one of these kids in the near future.

Having seen Johns in the 2 trials I agree. He would go very well in the pack and not really a ball playing centre. Wherever he plays, he does go hard.

He needs to work on his defence and should play centre. He always beats the first tackler and usually the second. With his height and evasion he has the tools but needs to work hard on his defence as centre is tough defensively.

Waaaaay too early to say stuff like that.

If anything perhaps giving the incumbents like Smith, Bradley, Seyfarth first crack and if they don't perform then they'll be out. Who knows where. Massey or just depth squaddies.

John's is one to watch this year.

Re: Seyfarth, I think the reasoning may be that he'll need to be able to play both edge and middle if he's to take that last bench spot (which is probably where he'll get a start in 1st grade). I doubt we'll be playing Luciano and Garner 80 each week so the bench 2nd rower is probably going to have to do stints in the middle and on an edge, at least as long as we're carrying a utility on the bench.

Anyone know what happened to Lucas Price? Thought he was decent last year.

He didn't play a single game last year as he was injured, and in the coaches box the whole time...

A very erratic player, and rightfully let go i imagine. Far better prospects coming through
