Cap 2011- Time to Cut Players ?

moors - jury out leaning towards cya - really has to get his stats up. Welack the man who bends the line and with moors frame i was really hoping he would be the man.

I have very little knowledge about the youngsters so i will defer to other "older heads" on the forum for their opininon,

the forums call on andrew fifita was excellent yet some have been raving on about blake laz for months and credibility was damaged.

We need size…

Why keep any of the following ????

The only players off contract next year are tnt , fitzy, moors, flannagan and blake lazarus

if it was me fitzy, lazarus, moors all definatly go - tnt while i love him it all depends how he comes back although mayby if he struggles but we think he'll improve we might get him cheap while flannagan is a certainty

i think we could also hopefully release cayless to be replaced by an upgraded fifita in the top squad and tame tupou or one of the young blokes again stepping up

i think a young winger with speed from the 20s or pehraps mullaney on the wing could eb a merritt type player

I wouldn't be getting rid of Lazarus. The bloke will be cheap and I'm sure we could keep him in the second tier. The guy has potential and is brilliant for charity work around club. Why throw away good depth and potential to save $50k?

Unless another club decides to pay more for Lazarus. The same thing happened with Peni Tagive last year. The Tigers wanted to keep him, made him an offer but the Dragons offered significantly more. No benefit to them so far since the poor bloke is out for another season, but Lazarus will probably attract attention from other clubs.

I have Liam Fulton only contracted to the end of this year also. Is this correct or has he been signed longer?

Either way, If I was Mr T, I'd be looking at my options considering he is the only player who would be worth any coin… :frowning:

Wests Tigers has continued its strong player recruitment drive for season 2010 by signing premiership winning forward Liam Fulton to a two-year deal.

Tuiaki is another story......big decision coming up for the Tank and the club....

Very concerned with the tank. You would have to think we need to off-load some coin purely on Contract Upgrades etc for long term signings like Bryce and Robbie. I'm sure they would be indexed over the periods...
