Wait so we're going to take the captaincy off Woods because we don't like him talking to other clubs and give the armband to Tedesco, who's been worse if anything.

Yes because we cant really replace Tedesco. Id express post woods to the dogs at $900k.

But how will improve ET's game or the team around him ??

As I said a few years ago , sometimes you need to make someone captain that will help them as a player and help the team improve

Before Taupau left I suggested him as a captain , make him more mature and less penalty prone , get him more involved , take a larger responsibility in the players around him

That's what I think we need again to look at

Just because a bloke makes 45 tackles every week doesn't make him a captain or the fact he has been through the mill as a player with injuries

Sue could even be that player , get him being more mature and controlled on the footy field

Half the role of the captain these days is "managing" the referee. The best at this are not always dedicated by stats, but their ability to communicate and focus.
I honestly think that the sides that do not have an 80 min captain, or have co-captains are putting themselves at a disadvantage. The best at this are Smith, Thurston, but Boyd and Croker are stepping up to the mark

Look if Aaron stays on at the tigers I haven't an issue with him holding onto the captaincy. People forget he's relatively new at it and will probably get better with more experience and less distractions at the club. If he was to sign on at the dogs or where ever l would make Eliajah captain tho.

Once it is officially. I would then say. Effectively immediately anoounce Woods is no longer captain of our team.
We as a organisation only want players who are 100% committed to our club, so all three Woods, Moses and Teddy will unavailable for selection in any grade of Wests Tigers organisation and no we will not be releasing them to play for another team. This year effective from now they won't be playing Rugby League.
