Cats' big clash

IT'S the battle of the NRL's ``Big Cats'' when the Wests Tigers host second-placed Penrith Panthers on Sunday at Campbelltown Sports Stadium at 3pm.

And for Tigers' fans, it's the final time this season they will see their talented team in action on home turf.

With four rounds remaining the Tigers are fifth on 28 points. A crucial top-four position gives teams home-ground advantage in the first week of the finals.

The big clash has the potential to attract a sell-out crowd.

Wests Tigers' chief executive officer Stephen Humphreys said indications showed there will be a big turnout.

``Tickets sales before the game have been strong,'' Humphreys told The Advertiser.

**``We advise our members and loyal supporters to pre-purchase tickets.\
\
``I would be very disappointed if there is not a bumper crowd, between two well-supported teams vying to make the finals.''\
\
The Tigers this year scheduled four games for Campbelltown.\
\
Humphreys said while ``no decision'' on next year's scheduling has been made, the plan is to retain four matches at Campbelltown in 2011.**

**Humphreys also said a ``Sunday 3pm time slot'' was a magnet to attract Tigers' fans.\
\
``Sunday footy is what a lot of people like and I know when we played the Roosters at Campbelltown in May we got a terrific crowd for that Sunday game,'' he said.**

In other news, the Tigers were defeated 34-30 by a depleted South Sydney in golden point extra-time on Saturday night at ANZ Stadium.

The Tigers let a 30-12 lead slip allowing Souths back into the match.

``We had control of that game and should have won it,'' Wests Tigers' coach Tim Sheens said.

Tigers' skipper Robbie Farah said they should have never had lost.

``We're better than that, we controlled the game, made numerous breaks we didn't capitalise on and they [Souths] shouldn't have got close,'' Farah said.

Gates open on Sunday at 12.15pm with Toyota Cup between the Wests Tigers and Panthers kick-off, 12.45pm and first grade, 3pm.
