CEO - Shane Richardson

Had another listen to the James Graham poddy with Richo.
Geez, lots of straight talk there and maybe about the best admin we've ever had.
Again, impressed with his approach to being "club boss," loved his references to the super league time and overcoming negatives that blew James Graham away, and also liked his vision for NRL Europe.

He just makes me confident that we're on the up and up, and losing is "undesirable!"

Anyhow, as i said anyway we look at it, doesnt matter because the way out club is structured doesnt give us any real decision making power. I think it should, but thats a massive organisational task.

I havent come across anyone here who i think shouldnt have a say in club affairs, even if i disagree with them.

Under a democratic system, if the club is planning to sign him, we could take it to a vote if people felt strongly either way.

It would be an amazing grass roots power.

And let the record show that the experts who used to run the club, they gave us multiple spoons.

Meathead.
Even clubs whose members have voting rights have no say in retention or recruitment of players.....they vote on board members.

That would be one hell of a mess if members were voting on incoming players

I think he had a blow up when he went to a meeting with the NRL about being registered. He then walked out of the meeting and went on a massive rant on social media.

I think there may be a chance he blew his to return to the NRL.
Is the SM post still online?

Seeing him with dodgy looking blokes at a mosque in a.post as opposed to him training or working out tells me a bit

Yeah nah!

Have you ever watched Tyrone play for either Penrith or in the ESL??

He does not possess the natural talent or skillset we need - or the personal character to add value to the team-first culture we are building under the current strategic recruitment/retention ...

As for Taylan.... He already screwed his interview with Richo - & got sent to rehab as a result!

Which he realistically should have been undertaking prior to his final court date if he had any personal insight or contrition!.

He is a long way off proving that his natural talent outweighs the reputational risks associated with signing him!

I can't see any team touching Taylan until the off-season at the earliest - and most likely only on a train & trial deal after 18 months out of the game!
The fact he did it is a credit to his character and showing he wants to improve as a human

You can't punish someone for their entire life for bad decisions they've made

Even todd carney seems like a good bloke these days

I’m one of those nutters who thinks that every team should have 3 scrum base moves to pull out in opponents’ red zone. I also like to listen to commentary on coach’s half time instructions and all I hear from our camp is “work for each other” or “believe in yourself “ etc.
Where are the strategies that turn a game? They don’t evolve from “play what you see”, could this be what Galvin is missing?
From my experience, that's where a good #6 or #7 get creative and introduce it with their team mates.

There is a reason they are the creative players.

I can't imagine Joey johns, Thurston, Lockyer, langer etc waiting for a strategic team to coach set scrum plays. Come up with some ideas yourself!!

They are on the field and have best perspective out of anyone to do so...

Honestly if he needs coaching on how to get creative then he's not the kinda half I want in my team.

Mam got massively booed on the big screen the other night in front of a home crowd.

Probably a lot of folk thinking hes cost them the season.

I probably would have booed him too tbh

But then left it there and not go back for my hate hat.

Still excited about the outside signings (if they come off).

Hope it's not a huge let down.
Almost every time the club promises signings coming, we have unrealistic expectations and are underwhelmed.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s AJ Kepoa plus some re-signings.

Not expecting Fifita and Hetherington.
