If Laundy goes through with an investment we won’t be anyone’s feeder team. He only sponsors the Mutts so he gets a return through advertising a networking. If he becomes a major owner of us he will throw everything into that basket because businessmen don’t like to lose on their investment.

Laundy and co would be a very different kettle of fish who would do his due diligence very thoroughly, so if he did get

The Club has been advised of a change in our Board structure by the Holman Barnes Group. As you can appreciate, the details of this change are still being worked through and will be finalised following the Club’s scheduled Board Meeting in December.
We completely understand your concerns and respect the position you’ve taken. At the same time, we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind cancellations, as per our membership terms and conditions.
What we can do in good faith - is opt you out of next seasons renewal to ensure no further renewals take place without you actioning this. Your feedback has also been collated and reported up to management as part of a wider review.

We'll have to wait and see if the jury in the court case bought on by Richo says guilty or not.
All we can do is wait and see.

Under ACL we have pretty solid protections.

Key points here:

1. A fundamental change in how the organisation is governed materially alters the nature and value of the membership product.

2. No part of the contracted service has yet been supplied, so a full refund causes no financial loss to the club.

3. A “no refund” clause does NOT override the ACL if the terms are unfair or the service hasn’t commenced.

4. There will be a law firm happy to act on our behalf

Yeah except point 1. The nature and value of the product has not been altered.

Not to mention, you get sent a few products in the mail don't you?

He would be bowing to them and their BS if he stayed. He is not yes man and made that clear from the get go. It was untenable as soon as they sacked the independents they knew it and so did he. Letting down Benji and the players was probably the only thing that made him take a few days to tie up ends with them before making it official. The aholes check mated him.
