Remember the 'anonymous tipoff' re his sons marketing firm. He cleared that, it's a small conflict of interest but nothing that special. Yet it's a stab.
Richo comes back, they get another 'stab'. It's why if I have a mate and I realise their girl "doesn't have a good grip on reality and just makes stuff up..." I tell them to Get out Now!
Same for people who lie or make stuff up.
Richo goes back... Suddenly he gets asked what happened to the petty cash?
"as CEO, you are responsible..." Knives out,sadly Richo is gone.

Compelling narrative, the hardest pill to swallow is that is that I may have supported a pokies club with a footy team attached, rather than the other way round for the past 20 something years.
It's one thing to be incompent, but this appears to be malevolence purely for self gain.
HBG need to be run out of town, with prejudice.
how old are you ,guessing you could play pokies only a few yrs ago. Point being ,guys n girls ,you teens ,20y somethings always looking for fun,and us oldies , Hop on a train ,make it a fun day out

Yes you have been and to be frank it’s been obvious for a long time.
I laugh at this claim of running them out of town or getting rid of them or #HBGOut etc….good luck.
When you read ridiculous statements as in your 1st sentence, I will definitely defend them.
You probably don't know this, but a Defense Barrister is someone that defends a person accused of a crime, even if they admitted to their Legal Counsel they are guilty.
The defense counsel has to make sure his/her client is not being corruptly attacked by the prosecution, to make sure the facts presented are accurate, and to make sure the accused gets a fair trial.
Well, I can't do any of that.
But I have noticed a lot of bull 💩 and hate from an overwhelming no. of posters against HBG/WESTS/WESTS MAGPIES being presented as facts, so I will defend them when I choose to do so along with a desperately small no. of posters that look at things differently to you.
This is nothing new though as it was very clear I wasn't wanted on here when I 1st joined in 2019.
And back then there was not much talk about HBG as things were going pretty well for the anti-WESTS MAGPIES brigade as far as the Board was concerned.
All the talk was anti WESTS MAGPIES then.
All that's changed since 2019 is the HATE FOR WESTERN SUBURBS MAGPIES and the open hostility against HBG has ramped up tremendously.
This post is a perfect example of the complete rubbish that's being posted on here atm.
You won't be "going to games" anymore, won't be "giving them money anymore".
You'll "probably watch as a neutral".
But you are HAPPY ENOUGH for the club to FOLD, so NO ONE gets to watch the games.
You're thinking about no one but yourself.
You anti HBG blokes are jumping at every shadow that comes along.
Tell us your interpretation of "THE FANS KNOW".
I've seen about 100 different versions so far.

But we weren't anti HBG until they started bringing down our footy team with their one after another dumb decisions over the years peaking at their latest brain farts.
We don't want them as owners anymore, let them keep their precious magpies reserve grade team but move over and let someone else have a crack at it, someone with more money to deploy.

Why is it that there are no fans of WESTS Tigers from the WESTS MAGPIES side of the JV agreeing with you.
And for that matter why is there only a handful of WTs fans from the WESTS MAGPIES side posting on here, as compared to 100 times more anti HBG posters.
I have the answer, and I have said it before, anyone from the WESTS MAGPIES side of the JV have never been welcome on here unless they are prepared to toe the Balmain line and grovel.
If you don't do that, you get bombarded with so much 💩 from the olde Balmain followers and now anti HBG followers as well, it's just not worth staying on here to be constantly abused.
Imo Richo will never be back and HBG wouldn't want him back.
HBG did the right and very decent thing letting Richo resign, rather than being sacked.
HBG will reign for as long as they choose to.

With the recent aggression shown by the anti HBG, Anti WESTS and Anti Magpies group, the end for 'olde Balmain people and The Grovellers' is getting nearer every day.
If y'all wake in the morning in a cold sweat, y'all will know something is brewing and it won't be as simple as a cup of tea.

There’s plenty of fans from the Wests Magpies side of the venture that agree. They’ve told you themselves in many different posts.
Why are you so obtuse and belligerent? As everyone is saying it’s not hatred of Wests Magpies. We’re just sick of seeing the club run into the ground by a bunch of incompetent, unqualified flogs who benefit from a closed debenture system, that reeks of nepotism, and who can’t grasp the fact that neither the Balmain Tigers or Magpies have played an NRL game since 1999.
