CEO wants top 4 next season

Ok an honest view is this team a top 4 prospect in your opinion next season without any additions to the player ranks the CEO has stated this is the goal .
My view is He Is Dreaming !

Agree. We don't have the size or aggression in the forwards and we don't have the defensive structure to suffocate teams out of the game. And last but not least, we don't have the week to week aptitiude to consistently knock over teams.

How do we attain these if we dont have the money to buy some power players, would changing coach help the players we have that most think are fringe first graders bar Woods,Moses Teddy and a couple of others,
I honestly think we have to persevere until we are financial enough to have a complete overhaul, not sure how long that it would take, but it is a necessity if we are to progress to another level of competition…the Raiders game showed that although everyone wasnt 100% fit,our boys lacked a lot of maturity against a powerful team with a very nervous display highlighted by the many errors and panic plays......

My point is, We Steven Bradbury'd a shot at the eight this year.
Now all and sundry are saying we're on the up… I just don't see it

What's funny about this is everyone says we Bradbury'd yet are full of praise for the Titans saying they deserved it and praising Neil Henry, even though they limped into the finals losing their last 2.

A great effort by them, yet a rails run for us?

Further to that, Henry is being spoken of as a Dally M Coach of the year candidate. What a difference one premiership point makes?

For the record, Stuart should win it with daylight second.

Agreed. Form after round 8 would have been better than the majority of clubs…

I swear you argue just for the hell of it, Get a hobby!!

They deserved it more than we did, That's for certain… If you don't think they did - Pull your head out.

Raiders beat them by 12 points this season
They beat us by 96... And we had 3 current origin players.

Their halves were Tyrone Roberts and a kid that's never played NRL....

Yes he deserves some credit for what he's built with the stock he started with, And yes - We Bradbury'd into finals contention....
All the teams (Bar the spooners) let in less points than us, Defence wins games - We don't have it.
We're paying 3/4 of a million dollars next year for a player that won't play for us...

I'm a JT supporter - But he's in for a reality check next season I can assure you....

I really can not see us anywhere near the top four and that has nothing to do with the coach, it basically our roster. People are saying we may improve because the kids will be one year older and more experienced, on the other hand we have a few players who be a year older who will slide a little. We have some very good players but we have more than our fair share of guys who should be reserve graders with the very odd game in the top grade.

Basically we need a quality winger with some height who is good under the high ball,we need at least one really good back rower and a big strong defensively sound centre, and throw in a goal kicker. Have a guess what…it aint going to happen. We might jag a player like Mortimer, but no chance of getting a established 1st grader.

Anyway if I had to make a call I would say we will slip a little from our ladder position this year

The Titans limped into the finals on the back of two straight losses, and finished just 1 point above us. You argue how inexperienced their halves are, yet leave out the 3 marquee mid season signings they were gifted. And yes i say gifted because the NRL held a gun to Hayne's head because they would not register his Parra contract, and threw in an extra 600K themselves on top of what the Titans are paying him to sweeten the deal. Lets not even mention the player who broke 1 players jaw and anothers back in the space of 3 weeks and got off scot free.

But they earned it and we got the rails run. Right.

They're an 80 point better team against the Raiders in 2016… 80 points better than us.

In 2 games.

Yeah, I can read.... They got in "just" above us - So what?
On paper, Our team shits on theirs - And what Henry has done there in his first year, Deserves Merit.

So you thought the Titans would beat us on the ladder at the start of the season did you?
- I'll bet not...
Neither did anyone else....

Hence, They earned it more than us - And the coach has done a fantastic job.

Argue all you like - No one thought they'd be better than us at the start of the year and they were...

They were rated about the same, and its just about where they finished.

3 marquee mid season signings and we might have finished higher ourselves.

In a squad this yr that had guys like Rankin, Lovett, Lawrence, Buchanan and Milone - guys who are punching bags for the majority of supporters. apparently we were shocking. Should have finished much higher with those plodders.
