Chammas and Ayoub

Look at this list...like several other of the bigger stables, we have only one of them (our own Seyfarth) / been knocked back by several.

I think it is probably very obvious at this point that the club is fairly divided and one side is feeding Chammas, who has really turned on us lately ( and with good reason).

I thought this comment from Chammas tonight was very telling:

**The only two players they’ve signed for next year, Super League duo Jackson Hastings and Oliver Gildart, are both managed by the same player agent who has become increasingly attached to Maguire, as some at the club have noticed.**

Who is their agent you might be asking? Well, it is none other than Sam Ayoub...

Now we have our increasingly unsuccessful coach aligned to him...and our only 2022 recruits coming from his stable.

There are obviously deep issues at the club, but Mcguire and Ayoub seems an unlikely combo to back if you are hoping we turn things around.

Two low cost signings, TWO players, is an alignment?

Seems a stretch like every other moronic journalist article these days.

Throw some mud, hope it sticks.
1 + 1 = 5.

Does anyone really read the sports articles and think... this guy has it all figured out.

It is a lot of our recent signings and re signings actually...

So currently 5 of 30? Hardly worth getting emotional about. Next year if Mbye leaves it will be 6 of 30. Hardly an alliance

Lot of former Tigers on that roster too.

Shame we couldn't get Paulo, Cotric and Sezar..

But yeah I'm seeing the link mate.

I think he backed Farah during the dramas and whatnot but Isaac Moses was the real trouble maker.

Yes, Moses def the problem.

I am not knocking Ayoub, if I was a player I'd be keen to be in that stable also.

I think Chammas is getting at the fact we are being fed the 'lower tier' players in that stable though and Madge is finding no success elsewhere.

We all know we need cattle.
The cattle don't want to join us.

Madge is looking at the youth and developing and that's the slow game.

We have to use the long view approach and wait 5 years for results...

It's actually really depressing but it's clear this is the plan so don't expect any big name signings any time soon.

If Mbye leaves we will still be paying mate...probably 500 grand of it. So, that can't be dismissed so easily.

Actually...add in that we basically don't deal with Issac Moses and you can why we are having trouble recruiting. By the time you combine a few of the 'stables' we don't have any success with, there is not a lot of talent left out there...maybe this is a key reason why we can't recruit.

**Quote: Moses has more than 50 NRL players on his books including top liners Cameron Smith, Mitchell Moses, David Klemmer, John Bateman, Tevita Pangai Jnr, Matt Lodge, Jesse Bromwich, Josh Hodgson, Felise Kaufusi and Jordan McLean. It is a large and powerful slice of the market given there are more than 100 accredited agents, yet 90 per cent of them don't have a single first-grader on their books.**

Farah is at the club and was managed by Sam and is best mates with Jay.

Also, are u surprised?

Tigers have been a dumping ground for the past few years.
It's not out of the depth of realities that Ayoub has seen us as a soft touch, just like the rest of the NRL... and has thrown us some lengthy, pricey contracts for players that are very sub par.

Farah name dropping his mate to get some contracts through the door, for good comish ..

Yes. Not Ayoub.

Also it's worth noting, Chammas is the unofficial Panthers promoter.

Mbye

Tamau

Amone

AD

Nofa

Hastings

Gildart

So currently 5 of 30? Hardly worth getting emotional about. Next year if Mbye leaves it will be 6 of 30. Hardly an alliance

7 of our recent signings and re-signings ...is a fairly high amount.

If Mbye leaves we will still be paying mate...probably 500 grand of it. So, that can't be dismissed so easily.

There's definitely a link.

Farah is at the club and was managed by Sam and is best mates with Jay.

It could be advantageous but has yet to be seen.
..

It would be 'nice' if they sent a topliner or three our way, instead of the 'less favourable' deals...
