The HBG has 4 out of 7 seats on the Wests Magpies football club board, so I wouldn't say they are separate and distinct entities.

I’m not talking about corporate structures. I’m talking about the essence of what the Magpies are about. Some of the posters on here are attacking the club itself and its record. Proud Wests supporters won’t stand for it and neither we should,

I want what is best for the Wests Tigers, I have always acted for what is best for the Wests Tigers. I get accused by a lot of Wests Magpies people, not just on here, as trying to destroy the Magpies. I could show you a lot of vitriol directed towards me and others in the last week.

Despite all that I am quite supportive of the Magpies being the reserve grade team, I have a bit of an attachment to them through the Wests Tigers and actually get out to Lidcombe semi regularly. I was actually threatened if I attend Lidcombe today and was still going to go but had an opportunity to attend the Captain's Run this morning and didn't have the time to go to both.

I have no issues with the Magpies footy club but do have some issues with some of their board members and fans and think they are disgraceful, cowardly people.

OK and this is MY last word on the subject because it has become totally boring. I have no dispute with what you’ve written above. My point is that a number of attacks have been directed at Wests Magpies FOOTBALL club and they are not HBG or Wests Ashfield. They are totally separate and distinct entities. By all means direct your venom at HBG. I can’t and won’t defend them,

Mate...HBG appoints the directors of the football club. They are run by the same people.
