Changes for game 2....

I cant believe no one at all has mentioned SOWARD, i hate how he sooks but his more of an attacking team player and fast off the mark than CARNEY thats who i would change

So we drop the most talented half the state has because he had a bad debut. Good one. If Benji has a poor game against the Cowboys should Sheens drop him?

Lawrence >Morris
Lawrence would have made uate stay on his wing and is the best defensive centre in the game… I know he could handle inglis.. Also offers just as much as Morris in attack

Watmough>buhrer

Apparently T-rex could be out for out for a while with back injury and may not play game 2.

That probably saves both creagh and glen stewart. Oy reason noones talking about how useless stewart was is because creagh was worse.

Im very surprised the whole 2nd row was picked. But now they are there i prob wouldnt change them too much for game 2.

Think my team would be:

Minichiello
Hayne
Morris
Jennings
Uate
Carney
Pearce
Galloway
Farah
Tamou
Watmough
Bird
Gallen

Lewis
Weyman
G.Stewart
T.rex
Fulton (i think a better choice as utility than buhrer and would play more mins.)

some other questions:

• Anyone know is aiden Tolman a QLDer?
• Anyone think there is a chance Robbie might be shunted if Buderus is back?

Tony Williams is probably out for 6-8 weeks
Tolman is from NSW up near Kempsey I think. Therefore he'll be in the Qld squad soon enough…
Farah won't be dropped.
Fulton is no hope. You can write your own ticked on that one.

R. Farah (C)
P.Gallen (VC)

Yeah I agree with that in principal… did you see Farah blow up when they decided to go for the penalty goal instead of kicking to touch.

Gallen is inspirational... but Farah is just plain smarter!

Only a couple of changes are needed… but they are changes that ARE needed.

I'd go with:

FB - B.STEWART (needs to improve)
LW - HAYNE (done good)
LC - JENNINGS (if getting a game at penrith)
RC - MORRIS (did ok, did nothing wrong)
RW - UATE (made a couple mistakes but still great in attack)
FE - CARNEY (can't drop him now)
HB - PEARCE (thought he went well, combined well with Farah)
P - WOODS (I know he is young.. but when your good enough..., can play big minutes but in origin would only play 40min max)
H - FARAH (thought he played great, just needs to stay involved)
P - TAMOU (had some great hitups.. nsw just needed another of him to interchange with him)
L2R - BIRD (played great and does well operating down the left)
R2R - G.STEWART (like his brother needs to improve)
L - GALLEN (I think nneds to be at lock if playing 80mins)

INT - LEWIS (has more impact off the bench imo, can be the utility as well)
INT - MERRIN (don't really like him but he did ok)
INT - WATMOUGH (has to be brought in for creagh)
INT - WILLIAMS (if he is fit, otherwise might need to go for a leyroyd-lahrs or galloway)
\
\
DROP - CREAGH (done nothing, did not even know he was on the field)
DROP - BUHRER (not his fault but just not needed imo)

i would bring in ennis for buhrer and watmough/mannah for t. williams

Ennis never was and never will be SOO material. If he were that good he would not have been at so many clubs.

ennis is and will be the second best hooker in nsw.he knows how to use his forwards. with luke lewis, you got all the outside backs covered if injured, ennis on the bench means farah can go halves if a half gets injured.
also, ennis will be good to give farah a 15 minute breather.

imo, all this rubbish about farah v ennis needs to be turned into farah & ennis. it's about time nsw stop fighting each other.

also, lol at people saying ennis isnt soo material. when he was hailed as "made for origin" people were saying that kind of a thing doesnt exist and now that farah is in, people are saying farah is "made for origin"

I totally agree with your last post. I would like to give you my own personal reason on top of what I have said.
At the height of their rivalry Robbie would answer questions about the two of them in a sportsman manner. Ennis would dribble away from including any reference about his rival. SOO is a arena for the best, and he is their.
I made no comments about Farah not being 'made for origin' I always knew he was, but Ennis was never made of silk.

ennis is an idiot for saying crap like that in media, dont get me wrong on that, but in SOO, u dont wanna not pick people coz they dribble in the media. pick em on performance and imo, apart from a couple of stupid penalties ennis has done nothing wrong in SOO.

qld kept picking cronk on the bench coz he was the 2nd best halfback. ennis should be picked coz he is the second best hooker.

Agree totally that a extra hooker would be handy as they could double up as a utility, but do you really think you can have them training together for such a big occasion.

I see your point. For me though, if they could fix their approach to one another, I could see a win win situation. Good debate.
Go the WT + NSW

I agree I know Fulton prob wont be picked but he DID play city v country… so if they arent considering him, the whole cVc thing means nothing as a trial for SOO.

Seems Tolman is from NSW: http://www.nrl.com/dogs-boss-shocked-at ... fault.aspx

Surely must be close to selection over merrin?
\
\
_Posted using RoarFEED 2012_

what has merrin done wrong? he hardly gets 20 minutes and makes full use of it. no point chopping and changing, they see him as a rising young star in origin, so be it. just dont chop and change.

and stryker.. gallen, lewis, bird, watmough, stewart, creagh, they are all 80 minute players. an extra dummy half would make farah's second stint as well as his own stint more effective.
