I don’t think heart is our issue this year. It’s skill….lack of it, particularly in the halves.

Last year heart and effort wasn’t there. This year I think I’m the main it’s been there.

We have 27 spots filled next year and are apparently signing Sezer and Sullivan shortly. Its fairly terrible roster management, but Im guessing Staines is getting left out.

Why we extended Naden, Kepaoa and Toa last year I have no idea.

Jesus… Staines is 10 times the player Toa is.. he has no problem putting his body on the line

He is unsigned at the moment and we have all 30 spots filled. I still think there will be movement though and it could see him land a spot. With all pre-season training back over the coming weeks, you would think we will know for sure soon enough.

It’s a weird situation. He’s far too good to be without an NRL contract in mid-November. God knows what’s going on. Safe to say no one knows, as there is no inside info on what the deal is.

The injury he suffered wasn't your typical NRL injury. It was just very unlucky.

We need him badly. He is our best winger and can cover fullback. Our fullback depth is dire without him.
