The club is chasing Australian Schoolboy and NSW rugby flyer from the Roosters NYC who is a lightning quick outside back. Will be a great buy for the club and hope we get him

Charlie has some very ardent fans.

I ve seen loads of him, very fast, good in attack.

Weak in contact. If I was to liken him to a player it would be some one like Quinlan, probably a bit quicker. Could be a decent player. However I think short of NRL standard.
Plenty of good three quarters at the Roosters in NYC

He does have ardent fans and you must be a Troll ! Quinlan !!! Hahahah….. No comparison mate , he plays in the halves for a start... You have no idea. His CONTACT looked pretty good to me in the video. I have seen loads of Taylor play unlike you and he has plenty of talent. Was wasted on the wing at the roosters as he got next to no ball passed to him and was not utilised under a Poorly Coached Side, should have been in the Centres to get more ball in his hands, he is a great finisher and also a great defender. The other three quarters at the roosters were only Turnstyles in defence. I hope he comes here, would be great for our club, with rumours few other clubs are circling

More Neutral observer than troll. You obviously have a personal connection to Charlie and that is great, but you better get used to some negative feedback, cause there is going to be alot of comments way harsher than mine if he progresses. If you respond like this to a very moderate critique you'll struggle when some Keyboard warrior calls him a coward or useless or alike.

I genuinely hope that he makes a career out of footy, I wish they all could. But they dont, and cant.

Im pretty confident you have seen more of Taylor than me as I expect he is a friend or relative of yours, but Ive seen enough of him and players of that level to form an opinion, and as I said, he has talent and is a decent player, I however suspect he will fall just short of long term NRL. Ive been wrong before and Ill be wrong again.

FYI Quinlan has played an awful lot at Fullback and in the Outside backs.

As I said in my post, he has some very ardent fans…..

Apparently on the Roosters site he has a few guys pushing his barrow hard (havent followed myself, but Ive been asked about him because of it) and I remember going into one of the Schools carnivals having a few people pushing for us to watch him and so on.... very unusual for a young bloke to have so many admirers.

Good luck to him I suppose.
 
Well it turns out we have eventually signed this kid. For the rest of the season.

Named in NSW Cup on the wing this weekend.

I wonder if Charlie and his family will rejoin the forum again now?
