Chee Kam

Cost us the game with his stupidity…

So frustrating to be completely in control of the game only to have Chee kam give away a penalty for absolutely no reason. From there on it was all Cowboys.

He is too loose to be in the team next year...

It was a turning point but it didn't cost us the game .
Dumb mistakes , laziness , Lolohea kicking on the 2nd and 3rd tackles and general dumbness cost us the game .

Penalty every day of the week. You have to attempt to tackle the kicker. Chee Kam just hit him with the shoulder.

I agree. I seriously dont rate the kid and struggle to understand what some of you see in him.
He'd only make my team next year if we experienced a savage injury crisis.

It was stupid but others have been let go…Chee-Kam also did some good things in that game but I think it proves once and for all he's not a centre...

The fact we found it hard to defend the errors cost us more... proves we still have a fair way to go...old habits crept in...

He's a depth player. Been playing above his average for the past few weeks.

Won't be near our first 17 next year.

He wasn't on his own tonight either. His penalty turned the game but good teams come back from stuff like that.

If the cows get there they will be making up the numbers

It didn't cost us the game at all. Everybody clocked off especially Tedesco. Teddy's to blame for that Feldt try, he was nowhere near where he should have been. But, everyone is to blame for that one, we weren't exactly on top before the Chee-Kam penalty.

We were clearly on top at the time both game wise and on the scoreboard.

Cowboys were all over us to start the second half. They were 30 out when Chee-Kam gave away the penalty. Then Teddy waddles around like it's under 9s and is way out of position when Morgan kicks it. To me it just seems like they all remembered that we aren't playing for anything except pride and let themselves get sloppy.

He didn't have a great game but Teddy wasn't out of position, he was over near the sideline in cover defence - a quick play the ball and then the kick. He is fast but he is not Usain Bolt. There were others closer, that could have got to the ball before Feldt.

I agree to a point, Teddy had to be over for cover defence, but he was practically in line with the ball and walking if not stopped. Given they were a fair distance out and Marsters & Nofo had them covered most of the night, he could've easily given himself an extra 10-15 metres. That and every Cowboys kicker being on the opposite side of the field meant he should've been at least making some sort of effort to cover the middle. MWZ had to hold his wing for the cross-field kick, but it just shows what having class kickers can do for your team. Doubt Brooks or Tui would've seen that play.
Sometimes a kick is just too good, and though Teddy could've been positioned better and we could've had more desperation elsewhere on the field, I think that was just a bloody good play.
