Exactly my thoughts, these blokes know this club better than any of us , both from their own experiences and from talking to other players. It's funny how almost no one , who has left the club , has anything good to say about the joint. About the remaining players, yes, but not about the club in general
Mostly the quotes mainly reflect their relief , that they are now in a club that's a lot more professional than us. Can't all be wrong

Almost all of those commenting on the club were here under the old board, coach, structure etc.

Not sure how any of them can comment on what goes on at WT today.

But don't let that stop you making a comment. Their opinion of our club and how it is run is about as valuable as say someone like Benny Elias. No idea of the current board and staff and what it means to be on the inside.

As for what other clubs think….fancy anyone form the sharks commenting.....they've sure shown plenty of integrity, support and honesty with their players in the last few years....NOT.

Exactly…but they know nothing according to the experts on here lol. Just about all who have left this club and continued their career somewhere else bagged the joint. Someone should get Ellis on the blower. He didn't have a happy ending, interested in his thoughts.

It goes both ways. Many of the same guys bagging the club now had choices to sign elsewhere during their careers but chose to renew their contracts at the WTs - often several times. I remember BR kissing the club emblem whenever he scored a try.

I don't doubt the club has historically been well below par on the professionalism stakes (and that's being generous). You don't hear many of these stories during the good times. When the results have been bad for several consecutive years players get moved on and they feel disgruntled. Moreover, unsuccessful clubs attract media scrutiny. A few years of good results and these stories disappear and speculation of player discontent start at other clubs going badly that year.

The massive stuff up about the way Robbie has been handled will probably keep Chris at the club.With management and coach looking very poor in many peoples eyes it would probably only take the same to happen to Lawrence to prove to just about everyone of their incompetence.Taylor cant afford to annoy what little support he has in the fan base.

Yeah I'm not sure what people here are missing, no point in these ex-players complaining about previous admins that didn't do right by them. Different people here now.

Certainly a tad ironic for those who went to the Sharks complaining…...............real stand up club that one.
