Chris Lawrence limps slowly towards NRL comeback

I don't care what round he comes back, just as long as he is 100%. Id seriously wait til it's 100% and then wait another 2 weeks

It will be an absolutely massive boost when he is back.

I agree with this totally. Could have been a career ending injury. Best to make certain that he is right to go by waiting a week or two once he gets the green light.

I saw him running at speed LAST week. I think the club is understating it, and he'll be back in the next 3-4 weeks.

If you are right tigea4eva, I hope the Management waits 8 weeks to bring the great young man back…..our great team can do it, and go all the way , without risking Chris, is what I really believe.

This kid is very special, and risking him instead of a 100% tilt at a solid season would be very unfair.....it is a very difficult injury that he is trying to get to come back from.
I Hope he is back for the trials or Round 1 in 2012, and anything before hopefully is a massive bonus to the WT

I think the club are over playing it to keep the press away. I just have this gut feeling we will see him sooner rather than later.

Not particularly related but he turned up at my daughters school the other day to give the principle student tickets for Monday's game. She got to walk him to her office as she recognized him from her class room and had a chat with him.

Anyway a nice story but I expect to see him by the time origin if all finished with.

After dping somr research on sports hip dislocations on Google, I will take a guess and say we will be lucky for him to be effectively 100% fit by Round 1 2012.

Ud be surprised bug. Your talking normal people. Normal recovery.

Lawrence has best doctors
Lawrence has full time support
Lawrence has fitness
Lawrence has youth.

In other words he is not in that league.

He will be back sooner then you think and he will be 100%

Very special indeed.

I saw him doing some rehab moves in the pool in the SFS members area before the Souths game. Very surprised to see him again in 2011

Well guys and gals I don't know how accurate this is but in todays Sunday Mail it states that we won't see Lawrence until next season . But then again it also states that Todd Payten will be back tomorrow ????? :wtf

It is so cruel for him to injure himself when he did. He would have been a shoe-in for origin this year, especially with the recent injuries to other contenders…
