Chris Lawrence to Sharks??

A lot of faith in Patty Richards, although simona has had a few years and an outstanding year this year we will be so young in the outside backs.

Lawrence will hurt us if he leaves but he is stopping korobeti, I don't know! It's a toughy. And I love Chrissy, all they best in whatever he chooses.

Dont want to see him go as it will come back & Bite us on the Bum, Also there are no good replacement around as well & no hope Folau will come to the Tigers. If he goes next year will make this year look like a great season.
 
On current form he shouldn't even be in first grade. Creates way to many gaps in the defensive line with his rushing up. He is simply too slow these days. Would be nice if he could have moved into the forwards but all our back rower options will be superior choices. Chris is a great bloke but I can't see how he should maintain his spot in first grade based on this years form.
 
Dony know who you would put in his place to be honest, I think Simona is far better on the wing, & i would like to see Lawrence & big Pat in the centres for the start of next Year.
 
Pat Richards in the centres is a waste in my opinion. The bloke is carving up on the wing, and has always carved up there. Though I agree, I certainly like Simona on the wing, but where do Nofo and Koro go? Nofo could play centre, but I would not let Koro anywhere near the centres.

well if this does actually happen

at least we'll have another team of Tigers to cheer on next year…... Maybe that's the grand plan, double the chances at having a side in the finals?
 
This makes my stomach turn. The point isn't whether or not Lawrence should be moved on, its the prospect of losing yet another one to those scumbags. Our management is just as to blame for constantly doing business with them.

Yeah, wasn't Benji contracted til 2015, didn't Bryce Gibbs re-sign for 3 yrs, 2 months before being told to look for another club? I could go on. Excuse me if i take that comment with a kilo of salt. Whats a contract worth these days?
 
Also to add he is only 24\. He needs this break, and me for one I am willing to give him a chance to finish off the year and have a good offseason fighting for his position and building some speed.

If its true im happy he is going he has been rubbish ever since his hip surgery.
he is lucky to make first grade. there are plenty of players out there that will cost us half the money and play much better.

I have mixed emotions-

1\. Lawrence should be kept as he is slowly improving and would improve more with a proper halfback aka Brooks.
2\. Lawrence needs to change clubs and it would do him the world of good playing with Carney.

Look at the Sharks backline..

1\. Gordon
2\. Feki
3\. Ayshford- Tiger
4\. Lawrence- Tiger
5\. Ryan- Tiger

If Lawrence goes surely Wests Tigers can afford to sign a class player, be it forward or back, to play in 2014? What's happening. Did Mayer know about this when he stated that Wests Tigers needed to sign an an outside back. We need more than Keith Lulia.

With all their current and future problems with ASADA I think Cronulla are trying to create a "clean image" by signing players like Chris Lawrence..
 
He will kill it with the right conditioning/injury free.
That leaves an odd 75? games of experience in our back line next year plus one if not two more noobies.
Tough times ahead unless you have a replacement. Simona is a potential answer but we will have lost two centers and I'm far from convinced with him at that position.

Simona is not a centre, Nofoaluama should be given the centre position.
