Chris Lawrence to snub Dogs, stay Tiger

Manly are shot ducks and on the slide where we are blossoming and on the up. No chance to go to manly I'd say.

I hope you're right….my hunch tends to agree with you!...Lawrence is a real genuine person, who like Robbie and Benji sees the long term value in being a franchise player....will no doubt help his own business later on!..

What i have been told is that Lawrence is there aim for centre and Lyon at 5/8 that is what Hasler wants big strong fast centre there .. As for and this is funny ILLEGAL OVERS how did you think they got Orford in the first place he was on $550.000 at Melbourne Souths offed him more and he went to Manly for $750.000 a season $200.000 off the books a season and when Brian Waldron said that a player left Melbourne and went to another club for more money and off the books who did you think he was talking about … And when Parrmatta got upset about losing the Grand Final to Melbourne for being over the cap why did you think Manly stayed so hush hush because they won it over the cap

But Hasler wants him and it mite just be good for him to drive his price up or go there

And also about the cap what i know about Souths wow

I genuinely believe that Chris is not of the sort of character to knowingly accept illegal overs - I am not suggesting that it doesn't happen - but given the current climate it remains a huge risk to both club and player!

It is a judgement call on my behalf - but one that has some weight behind it!

I have long held suspicion about Souths since Rusty arrived,but the $150k a season Burgess contract just confirmed to me what I thought all along,I can't believe Schubert is that stupid.

Its not about Lawrence as a person Its about after your football life as well and you do get injuries that you carry for the rest of your life … And i dont know if he will leave but Hasler does want him a big fan

But its about a players manger as well most dont have the players best intrest at hart they just want there percent of a big contract the bigger the better....

And with souths it was not cash payments it was with you sign this contract and i give you an apartment and one player who has played for his country that was his offer

One other thing when souths last was went after Anasta George Piggins and this is from his mouth was so up set with East beacuse at the time Souths had some land and it was worth alot and i dont know why any would offer Anasta that much but George was so up set because Anasta went to East and he could not belive what East offed

And Easts listed his first 3 year deal as $240k a year,and anyone with half an idea would know that was BS.
 
I would take as much money as I can sans jail time. If I could be guaranteed that I would be free and keeping my coin but breaking rules, I would give NO STUFF.
 
Extend Sheens' contract 1 more year and then our chances of keeping Lawrence another year will increase.
 
We Have Coach for another two at the mo, Thats good enough even to me the staunchest of Sheens supporters.. A player knows where he stands and for CL he is the #1 enter in a Club on the rise.

Im sure the club will be working on this as we speculate.
