Chris McQueen signs - Official

I think Lawrence could develop into a very good backrower. Would help his game immensely if he was not defending for halves that go MIA in defence, or running off hospital passes.

He is a much better option than Curtis Sironen,

How good do you think Gavin Cooper would be playing as his replacement or Boyd Cordner/Josh Jackson/Matt Gillett etc playing in the current tigers team?

Ch 7 are reporting it's close to a done deal.

Good signing if we can get rid of Lawrence. Otherwise, the dilemma of a small and weak back row continues.

Sironen is playing pretty good lately, he was very impressive on the weekend, looked better than Sue, Edwards and co

Wonder if the new coach has rubber stamped it

Or will he pull a Takairangi?

Does anyone else find it weird, if this goes through, the "Big 4" want to know who the coach is next year but other guys are willing to sign on.

Or have they already been told who the next coach is? Hmmm

We should trademark that, I like it now I think about it.

"You been signed by the Warriors I hear?"
"I had done, but I was Takairangi'd."

Niche usage though.

He signed with us. 1.2m over 3 years.
Not a bad signing and 400k isn't over the top.

THE Titans have been rocked by another player departure with key back-rower Chris McQueen to quit the club and accept a $1.2 million offer with the Wests Tigers.
>
The former Queensland Origin forward is resigned to leaving the Titans after the club refused to get into a bidding war with the Tigers for his signature.
>
McQueen has been mulling over his future for the past 48 hours and has decided to ink a three-year deal with the Tigers worth $400,000 a season.
>
Only a last-minute upgrade from the Titans will change his mind.

I'd be signing for 600k extra without knowing the coach too.

I'm a bit confused by this..If we get rid of Lawrence and sign McQueen is it a good signing or is McQueen a small and weak back rower as well…or is it just a shot at Lawrence

On McQueen..

What if he gets the last minute upgrade..?

Will the new Coach be happy with a Taylor signing...?
