Corey Payne has been good for the dogs ever since he left here. This year he has been particularly awesome. He's massively underrated.

Halatau has been awesome this year too.

I enjoy how many of you make statements regarding players and clearly don't watch games. Anyone who would have glanced sideways at a Bulldogs game over the past 2 years would know Payne has been one of their best and most consistent players.

"Awesome" as an adjective for Halatau and Payne…..............never thought i'd see that quinella.

I watch nearly every game mate. I'll agree to disagree with your "judgement skills".

Payne is playing at a different level to the one he played when he was here. We can no longer say players who leave here go on to do nothing, because now theres one who turned into a rep player. Makes you wonder how some of our pluggers would go under someone different, as we know what it did for Payne. As for Halatau, i wouldn't rate him anymore then handy while he has been with the Dogs.

I don't get Stuarts infatuation with Hayne at 5/8??? He's a winger or a fullback. Not a center or a 5/8.
Looks like we're in for another long origin series…

Like a lot of other quality fullbacks these days, Hayne basically plays as a second 5/8th for his club side anyway. The only difference being he defends from fullback.

He's not a bloody fullback either… The only reason why he excels there with the ball in hand is because he has space to run. He's a woeful defender, can't marshall the defence on the try line and can't position himself.

He's a world class whinger though. Watching the game yesterday, the amount of time he whinges to the ref is unbelievable. I don't know why the ref puts up with it seeing as how he's not the captain
