Classic match: WT v Parra, rnd 24, 2009

Hayne's chip and chase featured one of the arsiest bounces that you will ever see, pure luck.

Watching the game with hindsight is even more upsetting than it was at the time…who would of thought big Taniela would never ever grace the field for us again. Tragic.

Benji's pass that got called forward at the end was perfect-yet another time when we have been shafted by the refs :imp:

Despite the result it was a cracking game. The thing that still frustrates me about that game was the 8 point try for Gibbs grazing Luke Burt with a knee as he scored, followed by a 3 week suspension, which was the biggest killer for us that season. Shame really because on the run home in 2009 I think Benji was in career best form.

All these things that happened really makes you wonder hey? Tuiaki never playing again, Gibbs Suspension etc.
Just imagining what could of happened that year makes you a little disappointed but these things all happen for a reason.
