Last week will also discussed if the Wests Tigers dodged a $1 million mistake?

Sorry but not. Summer is coming on and free wi fi beckons ?
I trust you for an honest answer , is there a WT's podcast anywhere that gets down to the nuts n bolts of just 1 /any ,but just 1 subject instead of skimming over more than a handful of issues per chat
Preferably club structures
Guess its hard to come by if some one isn't giving up insider knowledge
2nd best is there a podcast that does it for random teams ,as a suggestion ,do Fred n Ralph do a team on the juniors across the Nrl 1 week at a time. Exhale , rant over (hope)

Club structure has been discussed in many episodes of the various pods.

I'm very keen to watch Fred and Ralph get into the weeds.

Good episode as always.
Gary you keep mentioning we just need a middle to make us a more complete team.
I agree another quality middle would be great, but where is this middle coming from ?
Davvy Moale is the most notable one who is currently off contract and he shows very good potential, but he’s the same age as Pole, similar in the fact he has some very good games , but is still young and inconsistent at this stage of his career. The other factor which Adel touched on is he like most others will likely be wanting an inflated contract which he knows will probably be offered to him by Perth Bears if not by a current NRL club for 2026 and beyond.
I believe Souths offered him a lot less than what he is asking for and if not him, I am not sure where this top quality middle Gary keeps refereeing to is coming from ?
The other question is who do we think we will be able to offload to give us the cap space to make a good quality signing should one or more become available to us ?

At this time last year did we know Terrell was going to become available. There will be players that come loose at their clubs and we need to pick up the right player when he becomes available.

I think the roster as it stands can make the top 8. Get a high impact middle and this squad will make the 8.

We all certainly hope a quality player or two lands with us before the 2026 season kick off and I hope you are right about us making the top 8.

Gees so much more needs doing than recruiting a good middle to make the 8.

*Winning the ruck and line speed (tbf im seeing signs of this but only now and then)
*Attacking structure (or is.our headless chook style in the red zone 'our style...as Robbos memtioned the chooks have been looking for their style') and only recently found it.
Does headless chook confuse the opposition as much it does us?
*Mental strength...seeing our players and senior players frequently verbally at odds with the ref isnt going to help our relationship with refs...refs dont change their minds but smart senior players know when to talk to them and keep them on their toes/keep the pressure on them.
We just gotta learn to suck it up sometimes constantly berating refs doesnt help.our r/ship with them going forward.
