Claws Out Podcast

It's so stupid and the basis for so much division, it should be all Wests Tigers right through the grades, after all that's the name of the club.

How long before someone gets upset with this post lol.
Personally I don’t care either way, but the JV agreement was for both Wests and Balmain to keep their own reserve grade teams.
It’s not Wests fault that Balmain went bust.

The gout people would be better off not involving this guy.
He's only after self promotion.
I agree . It’s pretty much horseshit politicking IMO. It was one of my biggest fears with him leading the Unite stuff. Is he’d use it for self promotion , and play bullshit politics .
The idea of the price is so tha people pay for a membership so that members have priority . And really fans of other clubs are frozen out . Which is the way it should be IMO. Like when the eels stooged us a couple of years ago for Easter Monday .
As everyone knows I’m very pro new ownership , but this shit from Darcy is grandstanding nonsense , designed to destabilise . Not to promote change and/or amendments an improvement to wests tigers governance .

It was great to see the club respond and make him look like a fool. It won't be the last time.

On a side note.
I'm surprised Elias hasn't been sighted during all this.

Galvin icing games for us in 2024 with less than 10 games under his belt wasn't trash mate. We were crap, rightfully so, but his output as a teenaged half in that year was stunning. He's already done more for his career in two seasons at two clubs, than Luke Brooks managed with us in 10. He's legit.

Like all the negs on here, you were quick to bag out our club out for losing Galvin (for supposedly botching his development,,,,,, and making him the main man wayyyyy to early.... that was your hobby horse)

buuuuuuutt, magically, after he's gone, you tell us, , he's trash, and that his career path amongst others, stands as evidence as to why our development pipelines are rubbish and its a bullsgh1t idea. Either the players are rubbish or the process/club is rubbish Dude You can't have both.

Find an opinion and and keep it there! If youre gonna write 1000 glib one sentence posts a month, at least base them around a coherent opinion that follows through in reality. There are grown adults on this forum capable of recalling the things you say going back years, so if you're gonna switch perspectives with the prevailing winds.... Understand that people will remember if you contradict yourself.
You are obviously new here otherwise you would be well aware that I was one of the extreme few on here that criticised his form in 24.
If you think his out put was stunning, then that just reaffirms my suspicion that you know very little about this sport.
As for me criticising the club for his development and the way we lost him…absolutely I did. The two issues do not contradict each other at all. If it confuses you this much, go ask your mummy to explain it. I’ve had enough of trying to speak with idiots today…

He is highly respected in pathways and has very good relationships with families.

He gets given a lot credit in regards to Makasini's development and retention.

Still unproven at NRL level.
I just wonder if we have the smarts in the club to be thinking 24-36 months ahead. I don’t think Benji needs that on top of learning to coach. SM I didn’t get the impression he’s that guy, maybe I’m wrong and he knows his stuff. I’d like them to bring a known quantity in.

That’s what the academy is about @UWS . I think the real issue is kids wanting to represent the wests tigers , especially in the MacArthur region. Until the club is successful for a sustainable period of time , then the club simply won’t resonate with kids and ultimately they will look at other clubs.
I’ll say it again , but the fact a kid from Campbelltown Warriors can’t put on the same jersey as Jahrome Luai or Terrell May , and see a clear visual path from his u16s rep team to the nrl , is a huge L the club continuously takes .
The club should be Called Wests tigers-MacArthur , and Wests tigers -Balmain . One wears the black or white jersey , the other the orange .
But I know that would mean the death of Balmain and the magpies . Sonits probably 20 years away . Maybe my grandkids if I have them , will be able to .
It’s such a step behind a kid who can walk into Moore Park and straight away see his training shirt is the same one Tedesco or Walker has on ….. anyways .
inner wests tigers / southwest's tigers

Richardson would be a good GM of football and apparently wanted a footy only position at souths.
