Cleary - One Home Ground..

Sadly we’re not all on board yet - like the group that turn up at Campbelltown, all dresses in Magpies gear, watch ISP and then nick off. Great Wests Tigers supporters!

Sounds like magpies fans…good for them...last I heard were still a democracy

Yeah thanks to those guys we are getting double the gate takings. If only we had a need for seats to be rolled over like restaurants they would be doing actual West’s Tigers supporters a favour by giving up their seat. Sadly we do not have that much of a following at Campbelltown for that to ever be an issue.
Oh and yeah I’ve seen it to, at ANZ as well.

Lets remember. Homebush equals $$$$ received.

All else equals $$$$ outgoing in terms of venue hire.

Yes time to become one club… 20 years of joint venture has been for the most part unsuccessful.
One club one home ground... Like it or lump it

Wests Perth your solution?

The first priority that supporters of our club have to come to grips with is the WestsTigers are NOT a joint venture ..they are owned by one entity …until this is ramped home no progress will be forth coming.

Not 100% they are NOT.

I would like to see more home games at Leichhardt oval
It has history
It has atmosphere
It is great for the supporters being close to the game and players
It looks great on TV having a big crowd and the noise they make
Its was intimidating for the opposition and could be again
I think we lost that
Transport is not an issue
I live up in FNQ
I will be down for Tigers v Rabbit's in July but would much prefer to be watching from Leichhardt oval
If more games were held there I would part with the money for us to get there more often to be part of it
Being at leichhardt you feel like you are part of the game and part of the wests tigers family
Being at Olympic park just doesn't cut it
No crowd = No atmosphere
If it had atmosphere more people would go
I've had my say

My old man played for the magpies, and can’t stand what the NRL has become, and what has happened to his beloved team. He is one of those that leave early…. can’t blame him, I however made the transition, still have love for the magpies, but the tigers are now my team, so I stay behind and meet him at the club after... lol

No idea but just a feeling that NSW state gov will push to have teams playing out of the new wss.

Its no secret, this is the idea

Haven't kept up to date with it all, thanks for that info. Good access via public transport if that ends up being our ground.

The Westmead/Parra/Olypic pk light rail will go by as well eventually

Sorry but you are. They don’t.

Righto. Must be a mirage

Why does it matter if they leave before first grade anyway? People are allowed to be Magpie supporters and not Wests Tigers supporters and those supporters are allowed to go watch their team play!

Just saying we’re still not truly united.

There will always be Magpies supporters who are not Wests Tigers fans, just like teams like Mounties and Windsor Wolves would have their own supporters. Doesn't mean that the Wests Tigers are not united.

If the NSW government want the WT playing at WSS, tell them to cough up more cash for our COE or go whistle Dixy.

Im hoping the people charged with making these decisions for us arent as fixed opinion as some of us. The whole thing needs a new mind.

Thye need to look at today's environment and make a call on the future.

Suburbs, regions demographics etc change over time, seems some of our opinions of these things havent.

They do not leave once first grade starts. Do not lie.

Not lieing mate - - I’ve seen them leave

Sorry but you are. They don’t.

Righto. Must be a mirage

I'm a Wests Tigers supporter and a Wests Magpies football club member and i do know that some Wests Magpies supporters do leave after the Magpies games however they are a small minority of Magpies supporters - the ones who have never really accepted the JV - they also go to every ISP and Ron Massey games to follow the Magpies so dare i say they are probably more hardened supporters of their club than a lot on this forum are of WT. I see nothing wrong with it - I'm sure there would be ex Balmain supporters who have no interest in the JV and show no support for it.

My original point was using this as an example that we are still not truly united. Maybe there are ex Balmain supporters who don’t support Wests Tigers - that just strengthens my point. Is there anything wrong with it? I suppose not. Each to their own. My point was not to criticise but to use the example showing there is not total unity yet. Much much much better than before but not there yet in my opinion.
