@ said:Any ground that pulls a good crowd on a Thursday night playing an out of Sydney team is worth persevering with I'd say. The players seem to respond to the venue as well.

The Tigers are the inner west's team, and Concord is smack bang in the Inner West and a middle ground for both Balmain and Wests. Wests Ashfield is a 5-10 minute drive away and Balmain/Leichhardt is only 2 suburbs away as well.
Accessing the ground isn't difficult - train to Burwood station & 15 minute walk or busses down Parra Rd.
A redone Concord Oval with maybe 2 Sunday arvo games at Leichhardt & Campbelltown each would be the best imo.

The club already know where our ticketed members live, surely that would be a good indicator of our fan base.

Pretty sure those running the club know
where the strongest support for the club lies.

Well so they should. I hope they finally act on that info.

With Homebush around the corner? Who would, and why would someone put money into concord?

The reason is called atmosphere. ANZ has none, zilch and zero. Absolutely pathetic place to watch RL.

I asked who, not why.
Who is putting the money up for Concord ?

I am answering as to why we shouldn't go to Homebush - where we go is not my decision and I wasn't talking about Concord. Rather watch a game at Birchgrove Oval than ANZ.
