Cleary: "We let them off"

I think if we’re honest, the roosters let west’s off the hook. They were well below best and kept us in the game. Time to show us what you’re made of ivan and make some (not so hard) calls.
 
It's hard to have a strongest 17 when you've got a heap of average players out there. In so many positions we have depth in players of the same standard, so no there aren't any standouts in lots of positions like centre, back row, wing…
 
We over performed early on, we are still early in the rebuild. The best 17 comment is reflective of this… We don't have a best 17\. Lets hope we can get 3/4 more first graders of a suitable talent.
 
Here we go again - opposition not at their best.

Tell me - have anybody we have ever played been at their best?

Well it is new… not the What we learnt this week as that was wearing thin obviously they are not leaning anything!
 
**The difference Grub has made both weeks tells me he has to be in the starting 13.
So obvious how we've lifted with him.
Who he replaces, where he plays are secondary problems. Just get him out there!
Worry about replacing him if he gets stuffed.**

Correct !! but he had to buy cheaper mugs because he had no money….

Ok so why is it that we end up with a poor roster and not a Roorters type roster….thats right we dont have uncle nick....and I suppose Ivan wanted a culture change so we have purchased culture and not top performing players..
is that how it is Geo,Im not sure who to believe these days...
 
As usual very happy with the defence so that is a continuing plus from previous years when you hold your breath and wait for them to collapse.
The attack in the first 15 minutes was like a circus with no ringmaster, did anyone know what they were doing, does anything come thru from training except panic.
The act of catching balls from kicks made Tui look terrified, shying away from them, looking away and head butting them made him look very ordinary.
At this stage i still look forward for the remainder of the year expect to pick up some wins and watch how Ivan continues to make improvements to our team. GO YOU Tigs
