I agree about holding people accountable but really, we need to decide whether the people replacing them are any better. Whether you're talking about Pascoe/Madge/Hartigan/Lee or the players.

Holding people accountable can be just holding a true conversation (if they haven't had one already) and setting standards in place again. Let's not start sacking people because we are upset and want actions. We got nothing to do but trust those in power.

I have 100% trust in these clowns to make me miserable all winter long

Unfortunately, that's all we can do as fans. I just hope they don't make panic decisions. No good can be gained my listening to emotional fans and make decisions based on online venting like we do.

It’s interesting. North Melbourne got off to a shocking start to the season, losing by a few big margins. Then their President released a statement pleading for patience and understanding. We’re staring down the barrel of the worst season in our history. Some accountability needs to be shown.


Accountability or leadership?

Someone has to be accountable for what’s happened so far in 2021.

The single biggest problem with the club is that there is zero accountability. They have demonstrated that over and over again.

One thing we are good at is deflecting blame and selling false hope.

We should sell dodgy used cars. We could spin all sorts of rubbish and make plenty of profit.

exactly this..... I dont care for the honeymoon period performances to only slip back into apathy.

No knee jerk reactions... Get dirty, and get to the root of the problem.

We need to stop treating symptoms and treat the cause instead. To do that we need to figure out what that is.

If the answer to our issues was easy, we should have figured it out by now, many have tried.

They need to come up with what they think is holding them back

Have selected players air it with the CEO

Maybe even a secret survey for each player to fill out to air their problems

Questions on survey could be asking them about the coach such as

1 are you happy playing under Madge?

2 is his communication methods unacceptable ?

3 is his training too hard? / do you feel burnt out ?/ if this is the case have you spoken to Madge ?

4 would you sign another contract to play under Madge? / if no than would you consider staying under a different coach?

5 do you believe in the game plan? Or is the game plan just not up to standard and making it hard to compete?

2 facilities not good enough so not happy at club?

But I just feel they need to have some input to the problems at the club so the club can try and sought out what's going on because this team with the right attitude can play much better than what they are

To me the attitude on the field is disgusting and communication/mediation between players/coach/ceo/club as a whole needs to be soughted ASAP

The players just need to put a list of grievances together

Sought it with the hierarchy and toughen up a bit and do what they are paid to do with the right attitude week after week and give the fans who pay their wages a footy team to be proud of
