Club Statement - Tedesco and Woods

Could put the Roosters and Dogs with the upper hand in negotiating with Isaac Moses.
"So, your clients have had their offers withdrawn by the Tigers… in that case we offer $300k less"
Players lowballed on the way out

Bravo, these contract negations now can be put to bed after Friday, as other have said they have both already signed elsewhere one would think, but now we can concentrate on building a squad of players who want to be at the club

About bloody time they had a deadline …

But basically the club knows there gone !

What I said before Hobbo , again the club wants to come out smelling like roses

This takes the blame game and points it solely at Woods and Tedesco ….

I THINK the club has only its self to blame if they had sacked JT at the end of last year and brought Ivan on board then we may have seen a different out come. in saying that I think ivan will get the right players we need to change the club around. sorry to see teddy go but moses and woods I hope they have hamstrings injuries for the next 4 years, I did not want them hurt just inconvenienced for the term of there contracts with the clubs with no salary caps.

Idk about anyone else, but i'm going to find it awkward supporting these guys for the rest of the year. Not just because they are leaving, but because of the way they've gone about it. I'll be there on Sunday, after that i might go into hibernation.

We finished one point out of the 8\. Lie to yourself all you like but there was no justification to sack him at that point.

Yeah, I got to admit its going to be tough watching these blokes play for the rest of the year.

As long as they don't dog it I guess I will be there but it will hardly be a great atmosphere for the rest season.

Yep that loss to the knights costly. But still we're in a win and your in scenario v a team who were playing for nothing essentially and got pumped on their home ground

So it should mate , they've had friggin long enough to put pen to paper …
You jumped down Farah's throat saying " no ones bigger than the club"

Same goes for Woods and Tedesco !

They're just a couple of procrastinating pansies deep down .
They want to know who the coach is :bawling
They want to play finals footy :bawling

They don't want to do the hard yards , that's what it comes down to !

Its clear as day how things are panning out…. Issac Moses is behind all the media leaks that surround the Big 4....always has been.

So the club impose a deadline on Tuesday and on Wednesday, then by coincidence the rumour mill where Woods and Teddy are going heads into overdrive....

The club has done the right thing, Moses has strung the club along for months hyping them up, with all intentions of shopping them around...

Going on Woods' reactions on NRL 360 Tuesday and him having lunch with his future mates on Wednesday Woods is as good as GONE.

Teddy on the other hand, whilst being pursued heavily by the Roosters is not over the line and hopefully Brooks gets in his ear and he stays!.

Not going to matter SC , no one of note will sign anyway

Its funny when you think of it , most pundits thought Brooks was the one we should let go

Yet he is the only one we could secure

More proof of what players think of this club

Hear the rumbling , the revolution is coming …....

Give ET the captaincy now piss woods off to reserve grade and play teddy at front row that will teach em to piss all us supporters off these past 6 months

Deadline should of been set weeks ago but you can read this as they are gone. Disappointing for Tedesco but gotta back the club in all facets here they have bent over backwards for him. Will be interesting if the NRL question him and his manager as to why they accepted a lot less money to move to another club.

The NRL wont give two hoots about that…..

I know you don't agree but i thought last year's comp was weak. This year is a true indication.

If they've told the club on Tuesday they are leaving, why would the club issue a deadline? Why not just announce they have withdrawn their offers. Best case scenario here is they know Woods is gone, but are still hopeful for Tedesco. Wishful thinking i know, but the statement doesn't really add up either.

Mate put yourself in their shoes

Your back in the work force thinking of leaving your current job , your bonuses are down due to bad products and other issues

Midway through the boss is sacked , don't you want to find out what the new boss is like before making a decision :crazy

Not sure it was the Knights win that cost us a semi spot, what about the Simona issue? I wonder how many points that cost the club? Also it wouldn't have done any good to the players' morale knowing they were busting there guts all year and not knowing this was happening.

Totally.
Moses, Woods and Tedesco. Are we supposed to cheer them on?
Not me.
Yuck.

Yes of course, but I think the issue us fans have is how Woods and to a much lesser extent Tedesco have conducted themselves over their future since the start of the 2017 season…People on here is peeved with Woods because of the way he has carried on...Why couldn't he have been a man and state up front what he wants and where his mind is truly at...had he done that he would not have lost so much respect as a person.
