Most of our players can't count or are blind. As spectators we can see the opposition moving players around to get overlaps. Amazingly our leaders cant. Why.

It seems so simple.
Mark your opposite number. Keep a visual eye on him. If he crosses over, you cross over and remind your own players what's happened ---- talk! --- Look up! --- Number up! Especially if he is faster than you.

Would be interesting at times why we do not do a basic chip and chase

Now that would put their defence in two minds of what to do. Love it attack coach!

Yep, doesn't seem like rocket science but unfortunately a few of our players brains turn to mush when under fatigue, especially those with limited 1st grade experience.

The speed of the game is a huge wakeup call rising from the lower grades.

He tends to focus on this theme a bit...i sometimes wonder if its taking something away from him giving his all.
It goes without saying (his.point on family life etc) but he'd know that even from his playing days, yes coaching ...it would be much moreso with a lot more responsibility ...but this is par for the course as with any professional role

Benji seems to really share his inner feelings and thoughts more than most coaches, maybe he's just that sort of person.

Like him or not he has had to deal with much more then your average coach.

The idea behind spending truckloads on Luai was sound but turned out to be a big failure.

And I think this just shows how tough the coaching job is at the Tigers compared to other clubs, even when you are afforded extra resources, it stills fuucks up, it must be frustrating and difficult.

Also, when compared to other clubs, our 'superstar' player is Api, great player but thats really it, so you have to work real hard to get the best out of what you've got......Madge couldn't do it, no one has been able to.

At least with Benji, you know he loves the club and will always give his best but his best can only go so far, so lets hope he gets some quality helpers around.

I'm giving Benji and team a gold star for what they did with a pretty crook roster.

The guys were in a terrible slump but they somehow got them out of it for the last handful of games.

Even the game against Penrith, the guys fought back pretty hard against a gun side.

It'll take us a little while to emerge from the salary cap black hole that Richo left us in after signing Jarome, but there were definitely some green shoots.

We were going fine at the start of the year too, I think hes doing an OK job all things considered, and he actually cares about the club doing well.
